Carlotta is one of the new characters added with the massive 2.0 update of Wuthering Waves, which came with a huge region called Rinascita. With all of the added content, such as various events, side quests, and other exploration stuff, it can be a bit overwhelming. In this guide, we will be covering Carlotta and how you can make use of her if you get lucky with your gacha pulls.
How to Build Carlotta (S0 / No Dupes)
To the uninitiated, Carlotta is a 5-star character who uses pistols as her weapons. With a Glacio element, she harnesses the power of ice to defeat her foes, and this should make certain choices while building her fairly obvious.
Before we go over to some build tips, here is a simplified overview or summary of her entire kit:
Moldable Crystals – This character can accumulate and hold up to 6 moldable crystals, which is a special resource that she can spend to power up her abilities.
Basic Attacks – Her attacks deal Glacio damage. With at least one moldable crystal, this is replaced with a different variant that also does the same damage type.
Art of Violence – This ability deals Glacio damage and puts an immobilizing debuff on the target that lasts for over a second. With moldable crystals, you can cast the skill again to deal additional Glacio damage at the cost of all crystals.
Era of New Wave – This ability will deal Glacio damage to targets in a radius. This also puts you into Twilight Tango, which lets you cast an ability called Death Knell. This lets you fire a musket that does massive damage while also moving around, closing out with Fatal Finale for even more pain.
Next up, as far as echoes go, the best thing you can do is make use of the new Frosty Resolve set that maximizes Glacio and skill damage. It is a perfect fit for this character, and you can further improve that by using echoes that have crit rate or damage stats, as well as glacio damage or ATK % bonuses.
Her best weapon is going to be the new The Last Dance, as it further improves her skill damage and attack. If you do not have it yet, any other pistol that has a high ATK % or crit rateor damage should work just fine for the time being.
And those are the basics when it comes to building Carlotta. The rest, such as the ideal team to play her with, is going to be dependent on what you have, which will vary wildly since you very likely are not whaling if you are sticking with an S0 Carlotta.
Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
