Wuthering Waves: Adventures in the Water City Guide

Wuthering Waves has all kinds of quests and collectibles to discover and complete. With the addition of the new Ragunna City region comes the Tales of the Isles event, which features a quest called Adventures in the Water City. In this guide, we will be going over the steps you need to follow in order to complete it!

Adventures in the Water City Guide

For the Adventures in the Water City quest, all you need to do is go to certain locations and interact with certain parts of your surroundings or with particular NPCs. You are given fairly obvious hints for each of them, but if you need help pinpointing their locations, we have got you covered.

These are all very easy to find due to the small size of the city itself, so here are each of the locations and people that you need to visit:

Location #1 – Hadrian’s Gladiator (Montelli Quarter)

At the Montelli Quarter, which is the northern part of the city, you will find Hadrian’s Gladiator at the southeastern corner of the area. There, you will find a painting with a gladiator sticking out, which supposedly has the power to pull you into it to relive the moment it is depicting.

Once you have found it, switch over to camera mode and take a picture of the animated painting to complete this step of the quest.

Location #2 – Tubpup (Montelli Quarter)

While you are still at the Montelli Quarter, head to the long pool at the northernmost corner of this area. There, you will find an animated floating tub over the pool. Head over to the platform further north and interact with the glowing marker on the ground to complete this step.

Location #3 – Aria Mummer (City Square)

Next up, head to the City Square at the middle of the region. There, you will find an NPC names Aria Mummer, the Archive of Melodies. There, you will have to complete the short La La Echo quest in order to get this step done.

Talk to Tommaso, who is the NPC right in front of Aria Mummer. After that, simply speak with the Aria Mummer NPC and then Tommaso once more to complete this part of the quest.

Location #4 – C-MOSS (City Square)

Further up north at the City Square, look for a little robot beside a guy named Fulmine. This is C-MOSS, who you need to interact with in order to get another step of the Adventures in the Water City quest done.

Location #5 – Farceur’s Faces (City Square)

Still at the northern part of the City Square zone, head over to Nyarla’s shop. There, you will find another glowing marker on the ground that will give you the prompt to “Observe Farceur’s Faces”. Do this and you will complete yet another part of the quest.

Location #6 – Gondola (City Square)

Near the water just slightly northwest of Bank Street, you should see a boat with a rather unusual appearance just floating there. Right beside it is another one of those glowing markers that will let you observe it, so go ahead and interact with it to complete one more part of this quest.

Location #7 – Signor Octopus (City Square)

Next, go to the center of City Square, near where the large fountain can be found. On the path leading further west of the city, you should be able to see a pair of arches. Climb up on one of these arches and you will find another glowing marker.

If you look around, you should also see a giant octopus playing instruments on top of one of the surrounding buildings. By interacting with the marker on top of one of the arches, you will complete this quest step.

Location #8 – Lucerna (City Square)

Next up, assuming you have not already stumbled into this one earlier, there will be another glowing marker right below the arches from the previous step. This one will let you observe the floating object near the fountain. This thing is called Lucerna.

While standing on where the marker was, whip out your camera and take a photo of the floating object just as you did with the painting at the start. Once you have taken a picture, the step should be done.

Location #9 – Plushie Squad (City Square)

No need for a map for this on as well, since these guys are found just behind the fountain, a very short jog away from where Lucerna can be seen. Here, you can observe them through the glowing marker near the railings.

After that, you will now have to photograph them just as you did with the previous entity. Find a good angle where the spectators are not blocking your view and snap a photo of the musical plushies to get this step done.

Location #10 – Bakie (Bank Street)

Moving on to the next area, go to the northwestern part of Bank Street and look for the Trattoria Margherita restaurant. There, just look for the glowing marker on the ground so that you can start observing Bakie, the large cooking machine in the middle. After doing so, this part of the quest will be completed.

Location #11 – Mercurio (Bank Street)

At the middle of Bank Street is Mercurio, which can be found beside the Averardo Bank Counter. This one is actually already unlocked as a part of the storyline, so just keep playing through the main quests if you still have not gotten it somehow.

Location #12 – Lario (Fool’s Elysium)

Just like the previous one, you will have to go through the main questline in order to get this done. However, this one is not completed automatically for you, so once you are done with the main story stuff, head over to Fool’s Elysium.

There, you will find a glowing marker at the shore overlooking the giant turtle-like creature, Lario. After observing it, whip out your camera for one last time and take a photo of it to complete the whole event quest.

After you have gone through all twelve of the points of interest hinted at in the event, you should now be 100% done with Adventures in the Water City.
