164 articles“Watch Me Make These Bugs Expire” is one of the optional quests you can find in K’aresh in WoW: The War Within 11.2. This quest will task you with something quite simple: burning a bunch of ugly bugs with a flamethrower! Rock and stone, brother! This will also progress the Sojourner of K’aresh achievement. Read on, we’ll tell you how to start and complete this quest.

To start this quest, you’ll need to head to the southeastern corner of the Eco-Dome: Primus within the K’aresh region. In there, look for an NPC named Assistant Engineer Om’vek. His coordinates are 49.86, 57.42.
Accept the quest from Om’vek and you’ll also receive the Flamethrower quest item. Keep this in mind, as you’ll need it to grill up some bugs real soon!
For now, though, just head to The Atrium. It’s the smaller southernmost room of the Eco-Dome. It should be highlighted in blue in-game, as shown on the map above, so it’s hard to miss.

Once you’re in The Atrium, you need to hug the outer glass walls of the area to look for Glutted Creepers. These are the bugs you need to expire!
Normally, these bugs are stuck on the glass panels. Use the Flamethrower quest item you got before to deal damage to them and make them drop to the ground. After that, you can just fight them normally like you would any other trash mob in the game. Rinse and repeat this process until you kill a total of 8 Glutted Creepers.
Now, the bad news: the respawn timer is a real pain. As far as the community has been able to test, only 2 to 3 Glutted Creepers spawn every 5 minutes or so. This makes killing 8 of them take quite a while, especially if other players are in the area trying to complete the quest. Sadly, the only thing you can do about this is to simply be patient…
Once you do manage to kill 8 Glutted Creepers, though, just return to Om’vek. He’ll be at the same spot as before, so just report to him and you’re done with the “Watch Me Make These Bugs Expire” quest in WoW: The War Within.
