WoW War Within: Ever Deeper Shadow Quest Guide

The “Ever Deeper Shadow” quest in World of Warcraft War Within will require you to help out Faerin, Anduin, and Alleria in their battle against the darkness plaguing the lands. While the quest isn’t the most exciting one in the world, it is a pretty important one in the game’s campaign.

In this guide, we will be looking at where you need to go to start this quest, and alongside that, how to complete it. So without any more delay, let’s get straight into it.

Ever Deeper Shadow Quest Guide

The “Ever Deeper Shadow” quest can be accepted through Faerin Lothar when you meet her at the Cliffside Beacon in the Hallowfall area. You can find this exact location marked in the image above.

Your objective for this quest is pretty simple, as completing this quest will require you to kill 10 Order of the Night Cultists. The 10 Cultists that you need to kill can be found inside a cave beneath the Cliffside Beacon.

To get to the cave below, go outside the Cliffside Beacon building and make your way to its backside.

When you get to its backside, you can drop down below from the spot shown in the image above. Dropping down from here will put you right in front of the entrance to the cave.

Killing the Order of the Night Cultists

As soon as you enter the cave, you’ll be able to see the cultists right in front of you. When approaching the cultists, tread a bit carefully as you won’t want to aggro all of them together. They aren’t the most difficult enemy to kill, but taking on 10 together can be a bit tricky. So your best approach is to aggro the ones closest to you and kill them before moving to the others. It’s also important to always kite backward when fighting them, as this will limit the damage you take from them. There’s no time limit to this quest, so you can take your time to kill them.

Once you’ve killed all 10 Order of the Night cultists, you will need to find Faerin and Anduin. Both of them can be found inside the cave you are in, and you can get to them by going deeper into the cave. The game will also provide you with a marker letting you know where they are.

You can end the quest and claim your rewards by interacting with Faerin after you find her. Completing this quest will earn you 23 Gold, 40 Silver, and 14600 XP. Interacting with Faerin again will allow you to access the “The Final Resistance” quest.
