164 articlesNow that there is a new season of World of Warcraft – The War Within coming very soon, a lot of new content was added to the game in preparation to please all the late game seasonal grinders. With new campaign story additions comes a whole bunch of new quests to complete, and among them is this warrant for Purple Peat. In this guide, we will be showing you all that you need to do to complete this simple quest.
World of Warcraft – Warrant Purple Peat Quest Guide | The War Within
Before you can get started, just remember that you will need to go through the main story normally until you reach K’aresh. This means going through the campaign of The War Within up until you unlock these areas, which can take a bit of grinding if you have not reached it yet.
The warrant is started just like any other warrant that you can complete, which is at the center of Tazavesh, the Veiled Market. This is one of the many random warrant quests that you can receive, so if you managed to get it now, then below are the steps you need to follow.

Complete an Abundance Event in Zul’Aman – WoW MidnightMay 25, 2026Now, as a part of the quest, you will need to complete three other side quests that are repeatable / dailies. You can do them in any order, but for this warrant in particular, you are going to be doing the following tasks:
- Daily Quest #1 – Large Sticky Voidmass – For this repeatable quest, you simply have to collect 5 corrupted sap, which is done by destroying the purple flowers all around the zone, and then killing the enemies that spawn. This one is the only thing that might give you trouble due to the lack of markers, for some reason. Check the image below to see what they look like.
- Daily Quest #2 – Energy Encapsulation – All you need to do is follow the quest marker and, as the objectives state, collect 12 energy in total and kill 8 crackling wyrms. It is just your bog standard fetch quest just like any other in the game.
- Daily Quest #3 – Untethered Battery – First, you will need to speak with Myi Koo, which will be marked in your map like most other quests. Afterwards, simply collect 10 pieces of Untethered Energy Samples, which can be found all around the highlighted part of the map labeled for this quest. Just run around until you get enough, it will not take you long at all. Afterwards, simply turn it in at the quest giver.
Once you have completed all of the relevant side quests, you will now be done with the quest and be given the key to start the fight with Purple Peat. From here, you simply need to eliminate Purple Peat, which is fairly straightforward and we are sure you can figure it out from there.
And that is really all there is to this warrant, which is mostly as simple as you would expect from the typical fetch quest formula of the game.
