Time on Frog Island: How to Get the Rope For Your Ship
The rope is one of the missing parts you need to get in Time on Frog Island in order to fully fix your ship and get back to your voyage as soon as possible.
You will need to get a rope on Time on Frog Island in order to affix the sail to your boat. As with other missing parts, you will need to complete a series of tasks first. Luckily, the rope is probably the easiest to obtain out of all the missing parts.
In this guide, I’ll show you how you can get the rope you need for your ship.
How to Get the Rope For Your Ship in Time on Frog Island
First off, you’ll want to speak to the Fisherman frog who is standing on the edge of a cliff. You can find him northwest from the painter’s house, just past the pond with lilypads. Speak to him to ask for a rope, and he will request a feather in exchange.
Speak to him once more and you’ll find out that you can obtain a feather from the Axolotl chief. From there, head to the frog village which is just north of the farm. Look for the frog guarding the entrance to the fortress. He will ask you to take a love letter to the painter.
Simply deliver the love letter to the painter, and the painter will ask you to deliver a love letter in return. Make sure that you don’t get the letter wet. After giving it to the guard, he will then leave his post, opening the entrance to the fortress.
Make your way to the top of the fortress to speak to the Axolotl chief. However, you can only do this during the daytime as he won’t be there when you visit during nighttime. He will then ask you to get a wet flower in exchange for the feather.
Getting a Wet Flower
You can’t get a wet flower any time of the day. You have to make sure it’s raining, and once it does, head over to East Island. Make your way to the east of the sand dunes until you come across some flowers on the ground. Simply grab one of them then take it back to the chief.
As mentioned, you should only do this on a rainy day as the flowers will just be sunflowers on a sunny day. Give the flower to the chief and he will give you the feather in return. Go back to the fisherman and give him the feather in exchange for the rope.
Once you have the rope, simply go back to your ship and attach it.
