Trying to reach Saurodoma Island and activate its fast travel Waypoint is one of the endgame goals for every player in Throne & Liberty.

As of this writing, Saurodoma Island is the last available region in the game. It features Level 50 and higher enemies, but also gives a lot of new content for anyone ready to face its challenges. Even reaching the island itself is a challenge, however!

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to be able to reach Saurodoma Island.

How To Reach Saurodoma Island Fast Travel Waypoint | Throne & Liberty

Rule of Lycan

Before you can reach Saurodoma Island and its fast travel Waypoint in Throne & Liberty, you need to make sure that the island itself is available on your server. It unlocks once your server completes the Ruler of Lycan Milestone from Chapter 4: Frenzy of Wraiths. This is a Server Milestone, so you can’t complete it on your own! If it’s not yet completed, you’ll just need to wait it out.

If your server has yet to achieve this Milestone, Saurodoma Island will be covered with a translucent barrier. You simply won’t be able to approach it, no matter what you do!

Timetable Quick View

If the Milestone is done, though, you’ll now need to wait for the Gigantrite event to start. As we explained in our guide for the “Little Friend in the Sky” quest, you can check when the event starts by clicking on the button shown above on PC to open the Timetable. If you’re playing with a controller, press L2 + Triangle (PlayStation) or LT + Y (Xbox).

Expanded Timetable

The Gigantrite event happens every few hours daily, and the Timetable will let you know when it will next start.

Alternatively, you can also check a more detailed version of the Timetable on the map screen. Just look for the Gigantrite event icon, which looks similar to a whale.

Boarding the Gigantrite

Gigantrite on the map

Once the event starts, you need to head to a potential boarding location. These depend on which route the Gigantrite takes. This is completely random, but you can track the Gigantrite on your map. These are the potential routes and boarding points:

  • Fonos Basin – The easiest route to follow, with the most boarding points. The Gigantrite will first pass by the Purelight Tower, then the Starlight Observatory, and finally the Veder Lookout.
  • Kastleton – The “in-between” route, it only has two boarding points. Starlight Observatory first, and then the Stonegard Castle Walls.
  • Stonegard – The hardest route to board the Gigantrite, as the Gigantrite flies out of reach for most of the route. However, you can land on it at the end of its route from the Stonegard Castle Walls.

We highly advise against trying to board the Gigantrite during the nighttime, as well. PvP is enabled when it’s night in-game, so players will likely try to fight each other at the boarding spots. They’re hotspots, after all!

Boarding!

Either way, all you have to do is wait for the Gigantrite until it passes by your boarding point. Use your Glide Morph to jump onto its back, then wait on its back until it flies by the Saurodoma Island.

Reaching Saurodoma Island Itself

Waypoint Location

When you fly over the Saurodoma Island, jump off the Gigantrite and use your Glide Morph to land on the island. Try to land close to the fast travel Waypoint on the northwestern part of Saurodoma Island to reach it easily and unlock it for future use in Throne & Liberty!

Gliding to the island

Do be warned, the Gigantrite dives into the water once it starts nearing the end of its route. Wait too long on its back and you’ll end up having to swim to the island’s shore. That said, it’s definitely viable to just swim the rest of the way if that happens… it’s just very slow and annoying!

Nonetheless, now you know everything you need to do to reach Saurodoma Island. Be warned, this is the game’s current endgame location! Expect to encounter Level 50 enemies and higher, so don’t go unprepared.
