“Little Friend in the Sky” is one of the many quests in Throne & Liberty that directly ties into a world event, as it requires you to board the Gigantrite.

The Gigantrite is a massive flying beast that travels over the world of Solisium every few hours. Visually, you wouldn’t be far off by saying it’s basically a winged whale. Besides the useful materials on its back, though, it also carries the target of our quest: a doll called Yeddy.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to board the massive Gigantrite so that you can meet Yeddy!

Little Friend In The Sky | Board Gigantrite Event Guide

Timetable icon

Similar to the Return of the Age of Wolves” quest, “Little Friend in the Sky” is directly tied to the Gigantrite board event in Throne & Liberty, as we mentioned before. As such, you’ll need to wait for the event to start in-game. To check when the event starts, click on the button shown above on PC to open the Timetable. If you’re playing on a console, press L2 + Triangle (PlayStation) or LT + Y (Xbox).

Timetable expanded

The Gigantrite event happens every few hours daily, and the Timetable will let you know when it will next start.

Alternatively, you can also check a more detailed version of the Timetable on the map screen. Just look for the Gigantrite event icon, which looks similar to a whale.

Gigantrite on map

Once the event starts, the Gigantrite will appear and fly through Solisium. You can track its movements on your map, as well. However, the route it takes depends on which region it appears in. Make your way to a potential boarding point as soon as you get notified that the event started.

Boarding the Gigantrite and Finding Yeddy

Waiting to Board

Here’s a list of all the boarding points for the Gigantrite in each region, following the order from first to last based on the beast’s route:

  • Fonos Basin – The easiest route to follow, with the most boarding points. The Gigantrite will first pass by the Purelight Tower, then the Starlight Observatory, and finally the Veder Lookout.
  • Kastleton – The “in-between” route, it only has two boarding points. Starlight Observatory first, and then the Stonegard Castle Walls.
  • Stonegard – The hardest route to board the Gigantrite, as the Gigantrite flies out of reach for most of the route. However, you can land on it at the end of its route from the Stonegard Castle Walls.
GLide onto the GIgantrite

Wait for the Gigantrite at any of the boarding points on its route. Then, once it gets close, use your Bald Eagle Morph to glide onto its back.

Yeddy spotted

Now that you’re on the Gigantrite’s back, you need to look for a little doll called “Yeddy”. If you face the Gigantrite’s tail, Yeddy should be to your left near the wings. Just interact with it once to complete the “Little Friend in the Sky” quest!

However, the “Little Friend in the Sky” quest isn’t the only thing you can get when you board the Gigantrite in Throne & Liberty. The Gigantrite’s back also has a bunch of materials for you to collect, so we recommend grabbing everything you can before you jump off its back. Either way, though, your work here is done.
