(the) Gnorp Apologue is a very charming and unique incremental game, but it’s unclear about some of its mechanics! Coaxing with the research lab’s bulb is one such unclear mechanic.

One of the achievements in the game just tells you to “coax it” by using the Rock Analysis Lab. A talent also talks about it, but doesn’t fully explain what you have to do either!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to use the Rock Analysis Lab’s beacon bulb to coax loose Zybes.

How To Coax Zybellium With the Research Lab Bulb

(the) Gnorp Apologue: How To Coax Bulb In The Research Lab

You can coax the Zybellium to come to the bulb in your Rock Analysis Lab once you’ve unlocked the “Zybellium Mastery” talent.

Thankfully, this talent is one of the freebies on the side of the talent stone. You just need to keep playing, upgrading your collection, and prestiging until you earn enough for it to unlock.

Build the Rock Analysis Lab

Once this talent unlocks, build a new Rock Analysis Lab and you will notice a flashing light bulb at the top of it. This beacon turns on and off constantly, and it’s meant to draw Zybellium towards your lab.

To actually make it work, though, you need to click on the light bulb. However, it only counts if you click it once it’s fully on. You need to have a certain rhythm and timing for it!

Successfully click on the beacon while it’s fully on 20 times in a row and you’ll earn the “Coax It” achievement.

Highlighting the Light Bulb

Be careful with your timing so that you don’t accidentally click on it when it’s off.

On top of the achievement, though, timing your clicks correctly will draw in any loose Zybellium. This makes collecting them much faster than waiting for the Gnorp on the balloon, as he’s quite slow.

Anyway, there you have it, it was actually surprisingly simple all along to “coax” Zybellium. The game might not have explained it clearly, but at least you have us to help you figure it out!

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
