A lot of activities in The Cycle Frontier will task you with locating certain resources and returning them to base. However, since there are lots of resources in the game, keeping track of all of them can be complicated.
In this guide, I’m going to show you how you can get nickel and where’s the best spot to farm it.
How to Get Nickel in The Cycle Frontier

Despite being a plentiful resource, getting nickel can be rather tricky at times. For one, you need to use a mineral scanner to scan nearby rocks that have a chance of containing nickel. You’ll know that a rock has nickels if you see blue rings in the scanner.
As you get close to these rings, you’ll then see several rocks. This is where you need to mine them using a pickaxe in order to expose the hidden minerals inside of them. Each mineral has its own unique color, and since you’re looking for nickel, you’ll want to look for rocks with green crystals.
This is just the base form of nickel. You can also find altered nickel in grey rock piles. This is different from the normal nickel, so make sure to double-check your mission before returning the mineral home.
