The 2023 version of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is the remake of the 2007 version of the game of the same name. And while it does remain faithful to the original, it also added a bunch of new stuff for you to uncover.

One of them comes in the form of trophies. With 28 trophies to unlock, the remake does indeed offer new things that make players excited. One such trophy is called Curiosity Killed the Cat.

In this guide, we’ll show you how exactly you can unlock this trophy.

The Curiosity Killed the Cat trophy is a Gold uncommon trophy that you can unlock by rousing evil from its slumber – at least that’s what its description says.

According to statistics, only around 35% of players were able to unlock this trophy. This means that it can be easily missable if you don’t know where you’re looking. The vague trophy description also doesn’t help with its case.

That said, you will be able to unlock the trophy in Chapter 2 titled the Blood-Red Night. This happens after you entered the secret passage in Warehouse 12 and have successfully escaped the dream world.

You start the chapter playing as Watson, and you’ll have to make your way to where Holmes currently is.

Just go straight down the slope and move through the passage until you find Holmes near the flight of stairs.

After locating Holmes, you will then play as Holmes. At this point, all you have to do is move forward toward the Cthulhu statue in front of you as shown in the image above then examine it 3 times.

You will start to hear some chanting that only Holmes can hear. Keep on listening until the chant finishes. Shortly after that, you will then automatically unlock the trophy.
