There are plenty of puzzles you can encounter in SCORN. One of them is the crane slide egg puzzle which you can find in Act 1. As with most puzzles in the game, this one can be a bit tricky to solve. Luckily, we have the solution just for you.

Crane Slide Egg Puzzle Solution Act 1 in SCORN

The crane slide egg puzzle is actually a tricky one. This is because you need to interact with two eggs in this alien puzzle. To find the puzzle, you want to head over to the room that has the alien chair and crane at the bottom of the main room.

Once you get there, simply interact with the lift that will then take you to the upper floor. Next, head over to the walkway and look to the right side of the room. The crane slide egg puzzle will be on the wall. You can start it by interacting with the panel to the right.

There are two panels on the platform. The one on the right will control the crane which you’ll use to move the eggs around. Meanwhile, the one in the middle will control the crane that will take the egg from the slot and into the alien device in the middle.

A Step-by-Step Solution

To solve the puzzle, you have to move the two eggs with tiny, glowing parts all the way to the slot at the upper left corner. You do this by interacting with the panel to the right.

For clarity’s sake, we’re going to refer to the uppermost row as the first row, the row below it as the second row, and so on. Then, you want to follow this exact order to move the eggs:

1. Move the pair of horizontal eggs in the second row all the way to the right.
2. This will then clear up the path for the glowing egg in the bottom row. Simply move it all the way to the slot in the upper left corner.
3. After that, interact with the panel in the middle to use the crane and pick up the glowing egg. This will cause the egg to burst, but it’s actually necessary in order to make way for the second egg.
4. Go back to the panel on the right and interact with it again. This one is a bit tricky as it’s actually a pair of eggs in vertical form.
5. To clear the way for the second egg, you want to start by moving the pair of horizontal eggs in the second row all the way to the left.
6. After that, move the second egg from the left on the third row to the left so it will be right beside the first egg on that row.
7. Next, move the egg to the right of the second glowing egg all the way to the right.
8. After that, move the rightmost egg on the fourth row to the third row and move it all the way to the right as well.
9. Once done, move the egg on top of the second glowing egg all the way to the left and then to the third slot of the third row.
10. Move the second pair of horizontal eggs from the left on the first row to the third slot in the second row.
11. With no obstruction on the way, move the second glowing egg upward and then slide it down to the second row.
12. Then, move the pair of horizontal eggs on the first row all the way down to the fourth row.
13. Next, move the second pair of horizontal eggs on the second row all the way to the right on the third row.
14. Move the remaining pair of horizontal eggs on the second row all the way to the right on the second row.
15. You can then start moving the remaining eggs on the third row one by one to the right.
16. Lastly, start moving the second glow egg toward the slot.

Completing the Puzzle

After you finally moved the second glowing egg, interact with the panel in the middle once again. This time, the egg will no longer burst. However, it will only take the glowing egg that top, not the other egg that it came with.
