The ultimate boss of the Zamorakian Undercity is an ascended Mahjarrat named Zamorak, Lord of Chaos. You must restore the Edicts of Guthix, stop Ol’Zammy’s nefarious schemes, and prevent Zamorak from calling forth armies of infernal demons to conquer Gielinor.

Beginner’s Guide to Zamorak in Runescape

Zamorak’s boss battle is distinctive in that it is designed for all skill levels. The story mode features a 90 percent damage reduction and lives saved.

There is also a normal game with a typical degree of difficulty and a nearly endless Enrage mode that will push the boundaries of your combat prowess.

Defeating Zamorak

Before engaging in battle, speak with Adrasteia on the first floor of the Valdor Castle to obtain the mini-quest Aftermath. It is highly advised to do this quest before dealing with Zamorak.

You’ll be going through the boss fight in the mini-quest, except that Zamorak will eventually be engulfed in a protective shield. Since you can’t defeat him, you will need to journey through the Zamorakian Undercity in Senntisten.

The mini-quest is an excellent way to learn his moves and get used to fighting him. When you’re done, you can use the portal that will immediately take you to Zamorak.

For the first time, you can now earn rewards in story mode. The experience will scale with your squad whether you participate in the fight alone or with up to five other players.

It’s an ideal way to increase your experience and get something in return for your efforts, even though they are much less likely to drop, and there will be considerably less treasure overall.

The default experience, normal mode, will likely be chosen by more seasoned players, but if you’re looking for a true challenge, the scaling Enrage will push you farther than any fight in Runescape.
