Portal: Revolution might not seem too difficult at first, but it can get quite tricky! Chamber 14 in Chapter 4 is one of the first roadblocks most players encounter.
As a fan mod intended to be played after Portal 2, Revolution fully expects you to have mastered Portal 2’s mechanics to succeed.
In this guide, we’ll give you a step-by-step guide to solving this tricky test chamber.
The first thing to do once you enter the chamber is to place portals on the white panels opposite the entrance.
You can then step on the platform in front of you to boost yourself towards the closest portal, which will take you to an adjacent room with a red button.
Press the button to drop a weighted companion cube. It will land on the booster platform, so it will shoot right over to where you are!
Grab your trusty companion cube and drop down from the platform you are on. Look for the power breaker which should be right below the platform.
Flip the switch to turn the lights off, then place one portal next to the chamber’s entrance.
Then, place another portal on the nearby white panel on the ground level. Take your companion cube through the panel.
Halfway Point
Place the cube on top of the booster platform by the entrance, then return through the portal you just came out of.
Now, put one portal on the far wall opposite of the entrance, just like you did at the start.
Then, put a second portal on the farthest slanted panel on the ground level, as shown in the image above.
Once you’re all set, flip the power breaker back on to send the companion cube flying. It will land on a button that allows you to exit the chamber!
To reach the exit, move your portal from the farthest slanted panel to the closest panel instead. Jump inside to go back to the entrance.
Back at the entrance, place yet another portal on the white panel opposite of the entrance, but make sure you don’t remove the one on the slanted panel from before!
Lastly, get on the booster platform to fly into the portal, which should launch you out of the slanted panel on the ground level. You’re now in front of the chamber exit, so the puzzle is solved!
