Pax Dei: How To Get Healing Magic Fast

The best way to heal!

Published

on

One of the first things you’ll notice when playing Pax Dei is how lackluster your healing ability is. Most enemies in this game will deal a good amount of damage, and the lack of good healing will force you to play much more cautiously and defensively. Early on, most of the healing that you do will be through food and potions.

Like a lot of other RPGs, Pax Dei gives players the ability to use magic when playing. One of the most useful forms of magic, especially early on is healing magic. We will be looking at how you can get healing magic in Pax Dei, and how you can use it.

How To Get Healing Magic Fast

To use heal magic healing in this game, you will need to craft a piece of clothing with the ability that heals attached to it. For this, you will need to have level 12 Tailoring. Alongside that, you will also need to have all the ingredients needed to craft those items.

2 very good pieces of armor that you can craft fairly early are listed below. The ingredients needed to craft them are also there.

The Radiant Mend ability that you can cast to heal.
  • Canon’s Gambeson (With Radiant Mend I)
    • To Eradicate, Abstract i x1
    • Worn Out Locket x10
    • Cloth Pins x4
    • Sewing Needles x2
    • Coarse Linen String x5
    • Coarse Linen Cloth x5
The Divine Remedy ability.
  • Cap of Reassurance (With Divine Remedy I)
    • To Eradicate, Law vi x1
    • Worn Out locket x10
    • Cloth Pins x4
    • Sewing Needles x2
    • Rough Linen String x4
    • Rough Linen Cloth x4

While most of these ingredients are fairly easy to get, the spell pieces and the worn-out lockets aren’t that common. We will be looking at where you can find both of these items.

Where to Find Worn-out Locket and Spell Pieces

Both of these items can be found by killing and looting named mobs. Named mobs in Pax Dei are rarer than regular mobs, but they also drop better loot.

The best place to find named mobs is going to be the Ghost Forest, as they are pretty common there. You can find Ghost Forests all across the map, no matter which area you are in. The image above shows what a Ghost Forest looks like on your map.

You will need a total of 20 worn-out lockets and 2 specific spell pieces. These items might take you a little bit of time as the items mobs drop are not consistent. Having friends helping you out will let you clear more mobs.

After getting all the needed items, you can craft the 2 pieces of armor and equip them to start using the healing abilities. Healing abilities can be cast with energy, and there is a cooldown you must wait out before you can cast them again. As you level up your Tailoring and get new spells, you can craft even better armor with stronger healing abilities.
