Palworld: How to Capture Pals 100% | Spheres Guide

In Palworld, you use Spheres to trap Pals within them. These are this game’s versions of Pokemon’s Pokeballs. The game calculates a percentage of likelihood whenever you throw a sphere at a Pal.

There are a few ways to increase this percentage, called the crit chance. We’ve collected some of the best tips and tricks to ensure you never miss a Sphere throw again.

How to Capture Pals 100% | Spheres Guide

To capture Pals 100% of the time, you have to upgrade your Spheres and get better ones through the Technology tab. There are some other little tricks you can use though. We’ve compiled them below.

1. Throw Spheres at the Back of Pals:

Throwing spheres at Pals when their back is turned towards you makes the crit chance a lot higher. Compared to throwing these Spheres at their front, this can be a substantially higher chance.

2. Damaging the Pal:

Another surefire way of increasing your crit chance is attacking your Pals and reducing their health. The lower their health, the better. Be careful not to kill enemies while attempting this though!

3. Stun Baton:

The Stun Baton is a melee weapon that can be used to apply stun on Pals. While stunned Pals are more likely to be caught. Applying stun to all Pals can make it way easier. In a similar fashion, you can also freeze Pals using an ice-type Pal like Penking.

4. Statue of Power

In Palworld, you can make Statues of Power to level up your capture power. To do this, you will have to collect Lifmunk Effigies from across the map. This is one of the most important things to do in order to have a higher crit chance and higher chances of capturing Pals.

Lifmunk Effigies can be found glowing in the dark. The best way to get them is to get any flying mount and then look for them during the night.

5. Higher Level Spheres:

In Palworld, you can use many different kinds of Spheres. All of these Spheres are unlocked at different levels in your Technology tab. You can also find some of these in chests and buy them from vendors.

Here are the ideal Pal levels to use each Sphere against:

• Pal Sphere: Level 1-9 Pals
• Mega Sphere: Level 10-19 Pals
• Giga Sphere: Level 20-29 Pals
• Hyper Sphere: Level 30-39 Pals
• Ultra Sphere: Level 40-49 Pals
• Legendary Sphere: Level 50 Pals

As you progress through the game, you should make sure that you have the appropriate spheres. If you want to use higher level spheres on Pals which are lower level for them, that will increase the chances of capturing them even more. 

Crafting the High-Level Spheres can be extremely difficult with how many resources it requires. This can be annoying, but it is still important to have a decent amount of good spheres on you while exploring.
