Kree’arra is the Armadyl general in the God Wars Dungeon and one of the most profitable bosses in OSRS, dropping the coveted Armadyl armor set along with the Armadyl Hilt and Crossbow. Unlike the other generals, Kree’arra utilizes all three forms of combat, but since it is airborne, regular melee attacks will not work and Ranged or Magic must be used to fight it.
This guide covers everything you need to know to kill it efficiently in 2026, from relevant plugins, access requirements to the best methods available right now.
Complete Guide on Kree’arra
To reach Kree’arra’s encampment, you need to equip any crossbow along with a Mithril Grapple to navigate the chasm. A minimum Ranged level of 70 is required to do this. To enter the boss room itself, you either need to have killed 40 Armadyl followers inside the dungeon or use an Ecumenical Key to skip the kill count requirement entirely. You will run into a shortage of supplies in the boss fight so going in with Ecumenical Key will make the fight easier.
I would strongly recommend pushing all your combat stats to at least level 80 before attempting to farm him seriously. The difference in kill speed and survivability between 70 and 80 is significant enough that farming at lower levels will feel noticeably slower and more dangerous. Getting those extra levels in beforehand will make the whole experience a lot smoother and more efficient in the long run.
Boss Room
Before diving into strategies, let me first walk you through the layout of the boss room and what you will be dealing with. Kree’arra does not fight alone. He is accompanied by three minions at all times, each using a different attack style. The image below highlights each one with a color coded marker.
Wingman Skree is the blue one and uses Magic with a max hit of 16. Flockleader Geerin is highlighted in orange and uses Ranged with a max hit of 25. Flight Kilisa is the yellow one and is the only Melee attacker of the three with a max hit of 15.

Kree’arra himself is the one you need to keep your eye on. His primary attack style is Ranged with a max hit of 69. It also has a Magic attack which is capable of dealing max 21 damage. On top of that, it also sometimes uses a Melee attack with a max hit of 25.
Method #1 of Defeating Kree’arra
The first and easiest method for defeating Kree’arra involves a simple hit and hide strategy. Attack Kree’arra from range. Then immediately run underneath it. Standing directly under Kree’arra prevents it from attacking you. Wait for your attack cooldown to finish. Step out, fire your attack, and immediately go back underneath it. Repeat this process until it is defeated. When your health drops to around 50%, use your potions to top yourself back up while sheltering underneath it.
This method works because Kree’arra has an exceptionally fast attack speed of just 1.8 seconds, which makes trading hits in the open a losing battle. By stepping underneath it after each attack, you are effectively neutralizing its speed advantage and forcing it to match your attack cooldown instead. This levels the playing field significantly and allows you to deal consistent damage without taking nearly as much in return.
Once Kree’arra is down, shift your focus to Wingman Skree and take it out first. After that, position yourself near Flockleader Geerin. Flight Kilisa will naturally follow you when you do this, which means you can group both of them together. With both in close proximity, use either Barrage or Blood Burst to take them out at the same time.
Useful Plugins
To make this method even easier to execute, here are three plugins I recommend getting:
- Menu Entry Swapper
- For this method, you will need to enable the Shift-click Walk Here feature inside the plugin. Once enabled, holding down the Shift key will cause your character to walk underneath Kree’arra rather than attacking it. Releasing the Shift key switches you back to attacking normally.
- Attack Timer Metronome
- This displays an attack timer above your character’s head. This lets you time your attacks more precisely and makes this method significantly easier to execute since you always know exactly when your next attack is ready.
- NPC Indicators
- This lets you place colored tiles underneath specific enemies. This is particularly useful here since it allows you to color code each minion based on their attack type, making it much easier to identify them.
Method #2 of Defeating Kree’arra
Everything from the first method still applies here but the way you attack is slightly different. This method revolves around Chinchompas. They deal AOE damage which is exactly what makes them useful in this fight.
When you enter the boss room, immediately head to the bottom left corner. Make sure the corner is clear before positioning yourself there. Once you are in position, Flight Kilisa and Kree’arra will follow you and stack together in the same spot.
Now target Flight Kilisa with your Chinchompa. Immediately follow that up with a normal attack on Kree’arra. Then use the Chinchompa on Flight Kilisa again and follow up with another normal attack on Kree’arra. Keep repeating this pattern until both are dead. The AOE damage from the Chinchompa will hit both targets simultaneously, making this one of the fastest ways to clear the fight.
Once Kree’arra is down, deal with the remaining minions the same way I described in the first method. The plugins I mentioned earlier are just as useful here so make sure those are enabled before you head in.
Wrapping Up
Kree’arra is one of those bosses that feels way harder than it actually is on your first few attempts. Once the pattern clicks, the fight becomes pretty routine and your trips will get a lot more consistent from there. Pick a method and stick with it to become efficient. And don’t forget to get the plugins I mentioned.
Once you have got this fight down, the next thing worth checking out is the Zulrah boss fight. Check out our guide to have an easier time with it.
