31 articlesOld School RuneScape (OSRS) is running its yearly Easter Event from March 25th, 2026, to April 15th, 2026.
This year, you’ll need to help the Easter Bunny find a specific easter egg known as Archibald. The little fellow’s apparently a bit of a rascal and has gone missing. Follow the clues to catch him before he does something he shouldn’t.
In this quick guide, I’ll help you start and complete this event quest easily.
Starting the Event Quest – The Brave Chocolate Egg
To start the event, you’ll need to go a bit south of the Grand Exchange in Varrock. You should see a Holiday Event marker on your map there, as shown above.

Once you get there, you’ll find the Easter Bunny hanging out! Talk to them to find out about how they’re missing an easter egg named Archibald. They want your help finding the thing, which is the main quest for this event.
Following Archibald’s Trail
For the very first clue on Archibald’s whereabouts, read the note on the nearby table. Apparently, Archibald is looking for a potion, so your first stop should be the nearby Apothecary.
At the Apothecary, interact with the easter egg on the shelves in the northeastern corner. You’ll find another note, this one talking about “the guy who sells bendy sticks.”
That means your next goal is to go to Lowe’s Archery Emporium. Use the ladder there to reach the second floor, where you’ll find an Egg Box atop a ladder. Pick it up and use it from your inventory.
To open the Egg Box, you’ll need to input a 4-letter word password. The hint is the same note as before, “the guy who sells bendy sticks.” So, input LOWE as the password to unlock it and receive another note.
Your next hint is “the view from up here is the best!” For this one, go to the very top of the Varrock church on the northeastern part of the city. Interact with the egg on the wall at the top for your next clue!
Halfway There
Next up, you need to find a guy who sells “shiny, pointy sticks.” As you most likely figured out already, that means the Varrock Swordshop is your next stop. You’ll find Archibald and the next clue under a table there.
An “evil place of worship” is your next clue, since Archibald thinks that sounds cool! Go to the Zamorakian Chapel in southeastern Varrock and check the chair for the egg and clue.
The next clue is “Bil noun omen,” which is an anagram. Decipher it and you get “Blue Moon Inn”, which is your next goal. You’ll find a decoy egg by a bed on the 2nd floor of the inn.
Open the decoy egg in your inventory to get your next clue, “a real king in a court”. This time, go to Varrock Castle and check the suit of armor near King Roald for your last clue. Almost there!
Your last clue is “a massive vault of riches underground.” Head to the West Varrock bank and take the stairs down to the basement there.
Finishing Up
At long last, you’ve caught up to Archibald! Interact with him by the barred doors to catch him. Finally! That took a while, didn’t it…
All that’s left at this point is for you to return to the Easter Bunny and deliver Archibald. With everything now done, you’ll get a few notable rewards:
- Archibald – Interact in the inventory for some silly choices, like talking, wielding, and painting.
- Easter Eggs x2 – Consumables that restore 14 HP, only awarded if you have over 25 hours of playtime. Rare and limited, so I recommend not eating them, as they’re better sold.
- All Easter Rewards from past years – Collect these by talking to Diango in Draynor Village.
