With OlliOlli World’s debut, many fans and potential buyers that are on PC are now wondering if they can play the game with a keyboard or if they need to hook up a controller to get the best experience.

Which Is Better For OlliOlli World? – Controller Or Keyboard

Sadly, there isn’t going to be much debate around whether or not a keyboard or controller is better for OlliOlli World because keyboard controls simply aren’t supported at this time.

This has been a barrier to entry for a lot of potential PC players because although the game (OlliOlli World) itself is relatively affordable, they aren’t willing to purchase a controller just to play the game.

Over the years, fans of skateboarding games have traditionally had better experiences playing on a console vs playing on a PC.

This was often further influenced by the fact that a lot of skateboarding games – like the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and the Skate series – didn’t get PC releases back in the day.

That being said, if you are a PC gamer that has a spare Xbox controller, here are the controls for OlliOlli World.

One of the main reasons why there is no keyboard support for OlliOlli World is because it intuitively uses the left analog stick to “charge up” and perform tricks. This probably wouldn’t translate too well to the binary controls of a keyboard.

Still, I’m sure that many fans are still hoping that Roll7 can figure out some way to bring keyboard support to OlliOlli World – but it’s definitely a long shot.

Anthony has been playing games since the 90s – with his first gaming memory being him playing an old school Gameboy in the backseat of his dad’s car. Although nowadays he also plays on PC and other consoles, Nintendo still has a grip on his heart…and his pockets. This is also probably why he currently holds the title of #1 Pokémon fanboy at Games Fuze.
