With the newest update, it’s now possible to cancel your Berserk animation so you can skip the lengthy animation and proceed to the next attack.

How to Cancel Berserk Animation After Summer Update in New World

There are actually several ways you can cancel your Berserk animation. In fact, some of them have been in the game for quite a while already. If you have used this skill before, you know how long the animation takes to finish. Also, you’ll be locked into that animation until it’s over.

This is why most people prefer canceling the animation so they can proceed to their next action. That said, here are some of the ways you can cancel the Berserk animation:

Light Attack Cancel

Possibly the most common means of animation cancel, this method lets you transition from a dodge to Berserk and then a normal attack. To perform this, you simply need to press dodge and immediately follow it up with berserk.

Then, as soon as you activate Berserk, press the light attack immediately. This will cancel the lengthy Berserk animation and will instead just give you a blue burst that lasts only for a fraction of a second. This indicates that Berserk is now active, and it also lets you perform an attack immediately after the skill’s activation.

Skill Cancel

This is pretty much the same as the first method. However, instead of the light attack, replace it with a skill that you perform immediately after activating Berserk. Also, you can only do this method with either the Feral Rush or the Raging Torrent skill.

Weapon Swap Cancel

In this method, you activate Berserk at the end of your second weapon’s attack animation. Then, you press the Swap key immediately and follow it up with an action. This action can either be a normal attack, a light attack, a dodge, or a skill.

Recovery Cancel

This one is pretty helpful when you’re being knocked down. To perform this, all you need to do is press Bersek as well as an action just when you’re about to get up. The action could either be a dodge, a skill, or a light attack.

Throwing Cancel

To perform this animation cancel method, you need to hold your forward button (W) and activate Berserk at the end of your throwing animation.
