Gols is the name of the currency in My Time At Sandrock. With Gols, you can buy stuff and services from various NPCs. Most importantly, it lets you expand your inventory slots, allowing you to carry more stuff with you.

It’s worth noting that each slot expansion will cost more than the previous one, so having a ton of Gols is really helpful in this regard.

That said, let’s have a look at how you can make lots of Gols early on in My Time at Sandrock.

How To Make Lots Of Money Early in My Time At Sandrock

If there’s one method I would highly recommend if you want to earn as many Gols as possible, then that would be the commissions. By completing commissions, you can earn a few hundred Gols at a time, with the reward increasing depending on your rank.

For example, a one-star commission will reward you with around 100-250 Gols. Meanwhile, a 3-star commission can yield even up to 2,000 Gols! That said, all you need to do is complete as many commissions as possible every day. Just keep on doing this, and before you know it, you’ll be drowning in Gols even in the early game.

Other Means of Making Early Money

Of course, commissions aren’t the only method for earning Gols in the game. Though not as rewarding, you can also earn Gols by selling stuff in your inventory.

Resources like plant fibers, rubber, and stones will quickly accumulate that selling a few hundred of them won’t hurt at all. In fact, you can even get some quick cash this way.

Another method is to upgrade your Social Knowledge tree to increase the reward you get from completing commissions. For example, you can earn 5% more commission bonus if you finish it within the day it’s provided by upgrading your Quick Delivery Knowledge.
