Death Stranding 2 is the long-awaited sequel to one of Kojima’s latest IPs, and it features a pretty confusing plot, at least at the start where it is completely intentionally obtuse. Throughout this narrative driven masterpiece, you will occasionally have some decisions to make. In this guide, we will show you what to do when faced with one such moments in the game.
Mannequin Voice Choice In Death Stranding 2 Guide
At a certain point in the game, once you reach Australia, you will be interacting with a mannequin, which will present you with a few choices. This will dictate what voice they will use, and these are all based on characters you have previously met in the first game.
Your choices include the following characters: Lockne, Deadman, Heartman, and Die-Hardman. You can pick each of them and see what Charlie will look like with each choice, as the character’s face will materialize over the mannequin’s.
In the end, though, none of your choices here will matter unless it is the “correct” one. The game enforces a canon option as Charlie will always pick Die-Hardman no matter which character you lock in for the choice.
If you do not want to waste any time, then just pick Die-Hardman immediately, as you will not miss anything no matter which one you pick here. If you did not like this character in the previous game, tough luck. You will be hearing his voice a lot for quite a while.
So yeah, the choice here does not really matter at all. If you just want to skip ahead to the next part, pick Die-Hardman and the mannequin will not object. Otherwise, it will keep giving you excuses as to why you should pick him instead.
That is everything you need to know with this extremely minor decision in the game, which you definitely could have probably figured out yourself, really.
