Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has remained a PlayStation 5 exclusive since its release, but a rating listing from the ESRB suggests it will soon come to PC.

While the original Death Stranding has been available on PC for some time now, its sequel was released exclusively for PlayStation 5. There have been no official announcements of a PC port or release date yet, either. However, it seems like it will soon stop being an exclusive.

The ESRB Rating for Death Stranding 2

As shown above, this new ESRB listing for Death Stranding 2 shows it coming to Windows PC, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The rating went up today, and matches the description of the previous rating for the PlayStation 5 release.

That said, this is still not an official announcement. What that means, mostly, is that there is no official release date known to the public quite yet. We’ll have to keep waiting for that, still!

Nonetheless, it’s a safe bet that the game’s exclusivity period has ended and the PC port will be announced soon. Perhaps it might even be at this year’s The Game Awards Show, as Hideo Kojima’s games are always featured prominently there.

In fact, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is one of the nominees for this year’s Game of the Year. What better place to announce this port, right?

However, bad news for Xbox gamers here: there is still no rating for an Xbox release. It seems Death Stranding 2 won’t be arriving on Xbox’s shores anytime soon, sadly.

Considering that the first Death Stranding did release on Xbox systems, it seems like an odd omission. So, we hope that the sequel does eventually find its way to Xbox systems.

Regardless, with the PC version ESRB rating already public, it’s only a matter of time before PC gamers can enjoy the sequel to Death Stranding. Not much longer now before you can continue Sam’s story, hopefully!
