Upon starting a game in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll eventually need to defend against those pesky night-time attacks. No need to worry about building up your village just yet – all you need is a crafting station, so you can craft weapons and show them who’s attacking who!

How To Craft Weapons

So, to get started, simply build a crafting station. Once you have that set up, you can use it to craft a new recipe, the Lumber Mill, specifically for the wooden rods.

The recipe includes the following materials:

  • Wood x8 – Look for small trees and chop them down in the woods/forest around the starting area.
  • Granite x15 – Early on, you can find them scattered around the grasslands.

Once you’ve crafted the wooden rod, congratulations, you’ve just unlocked the basic weapons, as well as shields!

It’s a quick and easy process, allowing you to gear up for those early threats. You can also enhance your weapons to make them last longer!

There you have it! Now that you know how to make weapons, why not explore further and test your weapons & shields with the stronger mobs like the Rollers.

They’ll give you better resources from crafting even better weapons!
