The Week 2 quests just dropped for the current Tropical Treasures Battle Pass in LEGO Fortnite, giving us even more tasks to complete while we explore this charming LEGO world.
Unlike the previous week, a lot of the quests this week can be completed pretty much anywhere in LEGO Fortnite. You won’t need to focus too hard on the Lost Isles region anymore. It’s nice to get a break if you’ve already explored them a lot since their release.
Anyway, let’s not waste any more time, shall we? Read on and we’ll tell you how to complete all of the Tropical Treasures Week 2 quests!
How to Complete Tropical Treasures Week 2 Quests
Uncategorized Quests
Deal 100 Damage
As always, let’s start off with one of the simplest of all the Tropical Treasures quests available for Week 2 in LEGO Fortnite. For this one, you just need to deal a cumulative total of 100 damage.
Damage seems to count when dealt both to enemies and any existing builds, so you should have no trouble completing this over time. You don’t need to deal 100 damage with a single hit, thankfully! Just keep swinging your weapon around and you’ll get this in a few minutes.
Isle Vibes
View the Codex 3 Times
This is another extremely simple quest, as you simply need to check the Codex a total of 3 times. You can find the Codex in the Menu. Just bring it up by pressing whatever button or key you have assigned for the Map and then switch over to the Codex tab. Repeat this 3 times to complete the quest and you’re all done!
Pirates Arrgh Life!
Defeat an Enemy With a Cannonball
For this one, you’ll first need to build a Cannon. You can find it in your Build Menu at the very bottom of the Toys category, as you can see above. Additionally, you’ll need to build a set of Cannonballs at a Crafting Station.
To build them, you’ll need the following materials:
Cannon
6 Planks – You can craft Planks using Wood at any Lumber Mill. Since each Plank only requires 1 Wood, you only need 6 Wood in total.
3 Copper Bars – Can be made by refining 1 Copper and 2 Brightcores at a Metal Smelter. Both of those materials are most commonly found in caves in the Dry Valley biome. Alternatively, you can get Copper Bars by breaking down any white chests and blue barrels you find in randomly spawning derelict buildings.
Cannonballs (x5)
2 Granite – Obtained by breaking Granite rocks with a Pickaxe. Granite rocks spawn all over the world.
1 Blast Powder – Found randomly from chests and dropped by Pirate and Cowboy Skeletons at night.
Once you’ve got the materials ready, you can build your Cannon and place it anywhere. Do note that you can’t move it freely after placing it, though. You can only move it again by breaking it with a Pickaxe and rebuilding it. Make sure to place it somewhere near weak enemies to make things easier. Also note that the Cannon can be aimed up and down, but not left and right.
When you’ve got everything set up, manage to kill one creature with your Cannon’s fire and you’ll complete the quest!
Best Friend Klombo
Ride on a Klombo for 1000 Meters
To complete this one, you will first need to tame a LEGO Klombo. If you need help with that, check out our guide on how to find and tame a Klombo. In short, though, you just need to find one out in the wild and feed it a Klomberry. This will tame it instantly and allow you to ride it as a mount.
Once you’ve tamed a Klombo of your own, simply mount it. Travel a total distance of 1000 meters while riding on its back and you’ll complete the quest!
Heading for Adventure
Visit a “Peely” Island Head
Just like the quest to “Visit a Llama Island Head”, the quest to “Visit a Peely Island Head” in LEGO Fortnite: Lost Isles is best done when creating a new world using a seed.
Since every world is unique due to procedural generation, the location of the Peely Island Head in your world is completely random. As such, we can’t tell you where to find it! But we can give you the image above as a reference for what to look for. We can also wish you good luck finding it!
Now, if you do wish to use a world seed to complete this faster, you’ll need to create a new world. Use the world seed 1389365463 during creation. We also recommend setting the world to Cozy to make things easier.
Once you load into this new world, you’ll spawn in Haven’s Village as usual. Now all that’s left for you to do is to head straight southwest to the spot marked on the map above. Just in case, the coordinates for it are 0.084, 4.775, 0.023. Either way, it’s about 100m away from Haven’s Village so you don’t need to go far!
Reach the marked location and you should instantly spot the Peely Island Head on top of a hill. Simply approach it to complete yet another one of the quests for Week 2 of the Tropical Treasures BP in LEGO Fortnite!
Magic or Science?
Build a Battle Bus Station
To build a Battle Bus Station, you’ll need to get Rift Shards. The only two ways to obtain Rift Shards are by defeating randomly spawning Golems in the Lost Isles region or by breaking down existing Battle Bus Stations. On top of that, you’ll also need to get Iron Bars, Malachite Slabs, and Frostpines!
Since you need a lot of rare materials to build your own Battle Bus Station, we’re going to strongly recommend breaking down an existing one. This will get you all of the materials instantly and effortlessly. The only issue will be finding one Battle Bus Station on your own since their spawn locations are randomized for each world. You’ll need to explore until you find one, using the image above as a reference for what they look like
Once you do find a Battle Bus Station, you have two choices to break it down. One is to smack it around with an Epic rarity Pickaxe. The other is to ride a tamed Klombo and make it charge straight into the Battle Bus Station. Either way, break the station and pick up all of the materials it drops.
Then, open your Build Menu and look for the Battle Bus Station under the Utility category. Select it and place it anywhere you wish to complete the quest!
Forge a Rune Onto an Item
This is potentially the most time-consuming of all of the Tropical Treasures Week 2 quests in LEGO Fortnite. To begin, you’ll need to build a Rune Forge if you haven’t already. You’ll need the following materials for it:
20 Knotroot – Get it by chopping down tree roots inside caves using an Uncommon rarity (or higher) Forest Axe.
6 Glass – You can craft it using 2 Sand and 1 Brightcore at a Metal Smelter. However, it might be easier to try to farm it from Scoundrel-type enemies which spawn everywhere during the day. Additionally, you can get it by breaking any randomly spawning bottles you find.
In addition to those materials, you should also aim to get at least 75 Essence. You get it naturally from defeating enemies and harvesting any resources.
Once you have everything ready, build the Rune Forge. You can find it under the Utility category of your Build Menu.
Then, interact with the Rune Forge and choose any upgradeable item. Non-upgradeable items will be greyed out and crossed over, so you can’t choose them accidentally. Select “Forge” once you’ve chosen the item to upgrade.
Now you just need to pick any Rune you want to put on your item and click “Forge Rune”. Each Rune does cost some Essence, however. The most basic Runes only cost 75 Essence, which you should have already. You’ll complete the quest as soon as you confirm your Rune selection!
