Path of Exile 2 has a trading system, but you can also add your stuff to the official trade market of the game to advertise your gear for sale. Doing so is actually pretty simple, though the method is not something that you are likely going to stumble into by accident. In this guide, we will be showing you just how easy it is to list items for sale!

How to List an Item for Sale

First, you will need to open up the shop and buy a premium stash tab. If you bought into early access, then you should already have more than enough of the premium currency to purchase several of these unless you already spent it on other stuff.

Next, you will want to go to your stash and right click on a premium tab. There, you should see an option to set it as a public tab, which you will have to turn on. Confirm your selection by clicking on the check button at the lower right.

Next, you just have to put your desired item anywhere in the stash tab. Right click it and then select either “Exact Price” or “Negotiable Price”, then choose whichever currency you want for it and how much.

Upon doing that, your item should now be visible in the official trading board that is maintained by the developers themselves. There, you can also browse what other players are putting up for trade, so you can study the market before selling your own stuff!

That is everything you need to know in order to start listing items for sale in this game. Just bear in mind that this is not the typical auction house type of thing you see in most games that allow you to instantly purchase stuff.

The trading board is basically just a way for you to find players who have something you want. You will then have to whisper them and initiate a trade in the game itself, assuming they are online at that moment.

Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
