Assassin’s Creed Shadows has a lot of camps and castles for players to clear out, just like the other RPG style games in the series. Sometimes, finding the valuable legendary items in these areas can be a bit annoying. In this guide, we will try to give you some tips on how you can get to the chest within the castle found in the Katano region.
How to Get the Chest in Katano Castle
Long story short, just like any castle, all you need to do is find the right building to get to the chest containing the valuable piece of equipment. If you just want to see its exact location, then go and refer to the map image at the bottom to see which building has it.
Now, as far as getting there goes, the best tip we have is to just get on the walls and slowly make your way to that corner of the castle. Stay out of sight and be wary of rangers on the walls and you should be able to reach it without getting detected.
In the event that you get detected, you will have to fight your way to the building instead. If you want to keep your run stealthy, stay on the walls until you are close enough to jump onto the required building, which will have some scaffolding on the side that you can use to get up.
Once you make it up the scaffolding indicated by the red arrow in the image above, you will be able to enter the building through a window. All you need to do is descend to the floor below and you will find the legendary chest in a guarded room.
Take note that you will need to kill all the Samurai Daisho in the castle before you can open it. If you have not yet done so, then you have a bit of work ahead of you before you can claim your prize.
That is really all you need to do in order to get to the chest. It should also be marked in your map with a chest icon, so it is almost impossible to get lost if you need to leave and kill the Samurai Daisho first.
