The various facility outposts in Death Stranding 2 will give you varying rewards as you increase your Connection Level with them, and there’s a way to check what’s next. The Connection Level itself increases as you complete Orders for a facility. Deliver things for them and help them out to earn Likes. The better you do, the more Likes you get, and the higher your Connection Level gets! In this guide, we’ll help you check the rewards you get from raising these Connection Levels.
How To Check Outpost Rewards | Death Stranding 2
The only way to check the upcoming Connection Level rewards from facilities and outposts is within the Corpus database. You can find it in the Ring Terminal menu by pressing the Options button on your controller.
Inside the Corpus interface, press R1 once to switch over to the Databank tab. Here you can see the profiles of what you know and, most importantly, the People you’ve met.
Check the profile for any person related to a facility and scroll down to the very bottom of their profile. You’ll see a small description text that hints at what you’ll receive next by leveling up the Connection Level with that person and their facility.
Sadly, however, this is only a bit of a vague hint at the upcoming rewards. The game doesn’t explicitly tell you what you’ll get. What’s more, due to the game only just coming out, nobody really knows what all of the rewards are just yet. We’ll have to wait a bit longer to know all of the rewards given by all facilities!
Nonetheless, at least now you know how to get an idea of what rewards the facility outposts will give you in Death Stranding 2. It’s not ideal due to their vagueness, but it’s still better than being fully blind…
Since getting rewards mostly relies on finding facilities, it’s a good idea to check out our guide on all Mexico facility locations. It’s the first region of the game, so it’s a good idea to explore it thoroughly while you get your bearings!
Gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
