Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 adds the new “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany area to Amphoreus, bringing it with a set of new Golden Scapegoat puzzles like other regions of that world.

This area has 3 total Golden Scapegoat puzzles for you to find and solve. The thing is, finding them is actually harder than solving them this time around! Two out of the three are hidden inside puzzle rooms, requiring you to solve other puzzles before you even reach the Golden Scapegoats. It sure ain’t as easy as other areas! Thankfully, you have us to help.

Read on and we’ll tell you everything you need to know to reach and solve all of the Golden Scapegoat puzzles in the so-called “Murmuring Woods”!

#1 – Serene Court of Learning

Serene Court | Honkai Star Rail: All Murmuring Woods Grove of Epiphany Golden Scapegoat

This is the only Golden Scapegoat in “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany that’s easy to reach, at least in version 3.1 of Honkai: Star Rail. To reach it, go south from the “Serene Court of Learning” Space Anchor and use the Hidden Passage to cross the gap. You’ll end up with the Golden Scapegoat right in front of you.

You can input 4 moves before the past self appears here. Input the following directions: right, down, up, right.

Doing so will make you fall right on top of the yellow plate as the past self appears. Once it does, input these directions: right, up, down, up.

The past self will drop through the gap and fall on the yellow plate in front of it and stop. Now just move right twice more to reach the altar and solve the puzzle!

If you thought that was too simple, buckle up. Things are about to get a lot more complicated for the other 2 Golden Scapegoat puzzles in this area…

#2 – F1 Puzzle Room

F1 Puzzle Room | Honkai Star Rail: All Murmuring Woods Grove of Epiphany Golden Scapegoat

For this one, you need to take the elevator on the westernmost side of the “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany area F1. The elevator will take you to a puzzle room.

Now, reaching the Golden Scapegoat puzzle itself is fairly tricky, so we’ll help you solve the puzzle to reach it. To start, use the book by the entrance to “perform a miracle” and change the time in the room. This will make a flower elevator spawn next to you.

There’s a shrine altar with a blue sphere next to the flower, as well. Interact with it and then get on the flower. Ride the flower elevator to the lower floor.

On the lower floor, interact with the book device in front of you to change the time again. This will make some lotus plants appear and form a bridge.

Cross the lotus plant bridge and then turn to your right. You will notice the “Extrapolation” Prophecy Tablet puzzle. Approach it and solve the simple shapes puzzle to continue.

Follow the light that comes out of the Prophecy Tablet and cross the lotus plants bridge again. Approach the green crate with the golden orb and give it a solid smack. This will cause a flower elevator to spawn in front of you. Get on it and ride it to the upper floor.

Once you’re up, turn left and you should see a chest at the entrance of a hallway. Approach that chest. Feel free to open it up, too, even if it’s not necessary!

Turn left again while facing chest and you’ll see the Golden Scapegoat puzzle at the end of the hallway. At long last, it’s time to solve it!

The past self will spawn while you’re standing on the blue platform on the top left of the puzzle. As soon as it appears, input the following: right, down, right, down, right, left, right.

That will make the past self fall onto the yellow plate at the end of its route. Now you just need to climb up to the altar and light it up to complete the puzzle!

#3 – F3 Puzzle Room

You’ll find the final Golden Scapegoat puzzle in the “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany area in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 inside of the F3 puzzle room. We’ve marked it on the map above for you. Just like the previous puzzle room, it’s in the western part of the area.

Just like the previous puzzle room, reaching the Golden Scapegoat here is going to take a bit of work. As soon as you enter the puzzle room, interact with the book altar to your left to change the time.

This will make a lotus plant bridge appear to your left. Take it and follow the path upstairs to reach the upper floor.

There will be another book device in front of you as you reach the upper floor. “Perform a miracle” once again to change the time in the room.

Then, use both Miracle Orbs on this upper floor and point them to the middle of the room. Point them both to the bridges, connecting the midsection to the rest of the room.

Next, look for the flower elevator near the book altar. Grab the blue prayer orb from the shrine altar next to the flower. Then, get on the flower and ride it down.

Once you get to the lower floor, turn left to find the “Bursting Bloom” Prophecy Tablet. Solve its puzzle to spawn a tall flower on the opposite end of the room.

Cross the lotus plant bridges to reach the flower spawned by the Prophecy Tablet and interact with it to call it down. Then step onto it and ride it to the upper floor.

Then follow the golden orb as it breaks the nearby crates and reveals the Golden Scapegoat puzzle! Interact with it to start solving it.

Puzzle begins | Honkai Star Rail: All Murmuring Woods Grove of Epiphany Golden Scapegoat

This time, like the previous Golden Scapegoat puzzle, we get 6 moves before the past self appears. Input these directions: right, right, left, right, right, right.

The past self will appear right as you step on the yellow plate. Once it appears, walk left once and then right again.

You will step on the yellow plate again as the past self gets on the yellow platform, making it fall. Walk left and right repeatedly to pass turns. The shadow self will go left once and move right until it steps on the blue plate and stops moving.

At this point, you just need to go left as much as possible to drop onto the altar, solving the puzzle!

So, there you have it! It took a lot of work, but that’s how to reach and solve all of the Golden Scapegoat puzzles in the “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany area in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1. This isn’t the only puzzle in this area, though. If you already collected all 20 Nymphs in the area, you can also solve the Sage’s Statues puzzle!
