Sigils are one of the most important pieces of equipment in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, so you should know how to upgrade them as soon as possible.
Upgrading them will greatly enhance their effects, which is important due to the fact that you have a limited number of slots to equip Sigils. Every Sigil has to be strong on its own, so get upgrading!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to upgrade Sigils.
How to Upgrade Sigils
You will naturally unlock the ability to upgrade Sigils once you reach Seedhollow in Chapter 6. This is also when you unlock the ability to use Fast Travel across towns.
More importantly, this allows you to return to Folca using Fast Travel! So, use Fast Travel to go to Folca as soon as you can.
Speak to the Blacksmith in Folca and he will tell you that he has expanded his repertoire. One of his new features is the ability to upgrade Sigils.
Choose “Upgrade Sigils” from the Blacksmith’s menu to bring up the list of every upgradeable Sigil you currently possess.
The ones with a red diamond with an “E” are currently equipped by a character. You can also see which character has the Sigil equipped when you select it for upgrading.
Now, of course, upgrading doesn’t come for free. You will need to spend materials found throughout completing quests, which can be seen in the “Required Treasure” section.
On top of that, you will also need to pay a fee in Rupies. Nothing’s free in this life, it seems!
The materials and Rupies required vary for each single Sigil, as well as to what level you’re upgrading the Sigil. Higher-level upgrades will require rarer materials and cost more, as you might expect.
Once you have the required materials and Rupies, just select the Sigil you want to upgrade and confirm the upgrade.
But there you have it, now you know how to upgrade your Sigils whenever you want. Keep doing this to bolster all of your favorite Sigils, such asthe ones tailored toward DPS builds.
