Genshin Impact: Sounds From Afar Quest Guide

Jump in the Act I of the Ballads and Brews Event and learn about Razor’s Mileage.

Genshin Impact Update 3.1 brought of lot new things to do in the game. Among the things to do is a new series of quests related to Razor’s past. The first of these quests is Sounds From Afar, which we will guide you through.

Sounds From Afar Quest Guide in Genshin Impact

To get the quest head to the Adventurer’s Guild in Mondstadt and speak with Katheryne.

Go to the Knights of Favonius Headquarters

For your next stop, go to the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. This will start a scene that introduces Mika, one of Update 3.1 new characters. He will read Varka’s Letter.

Go to the Grand Master’s office

If you aren’t sure, the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius is Jean, so just enter her office. This will trigger another conversation with her plus Lisa.

Leave and go to Wolvendom

Wolvendom is next. Teleport there. If you happen to not have it for some reason, the settlement is south-west of Mondstadt, north of the Dawn Winery and northwest of Springvale. In there you will find a Hunting Trap.

Following Electro

The next series of objectives are all the same: tracing. You’ll need to use Elemental Sight to follow the traces. Do so until you meet with Razor.

Go back to Grand Master’s office

After your hunt is done you’ll need to go back to Jean’s office. This will prompt a new scene with Lisa and Razor.

Wait for the Weinlesefest

After the cutscene is over the objective will change to waiting for the Weinlesefest, and indicate a time for two days later. Don’t worry, you don’t have to actually wait two days – just go to your Time window and advance the two days in the clock. Remember the time must be between 8:00 to 10:00.

Go to Weinlesefest’s venue

If you changed time correctly your objective will update. Teleport to Springvale and get into the venue, starting a cutscene.

Talk to Venti

The last objective of this quest. You’ll need to talk to Venti for yet another and the last cutscene. He’s in the avenue, so you won’t have to go far to find him: you should be able to see him just by turning around. Congratulations, Sounds From Afar is now finished!
