Genshin Impact: How to Unlock Sumeru Reputation

It’s no secret that Reputation Boards across the regions in Genshin Impact have tons of amazing rewards to offer. These rewards can make your exploration significantly easier, with some even exclusive to their own region.

The same goes for the Reputation Board in Sumeru. However, before you even think about farming for rewards, you need to unlock Sumeru Reputation first.

In this guide, I’ll show you what you need to do.

How to Unlock Sumeru Reputation in Genshin Impact

Before you can work your way toward unlocking Sumeru reputation, you first need to complete the first two parts of the Sumeru Archon Quest. These are as follows:

• Chapter III: Act I – Through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark
• Chapter III: Act II – The Morn a Thousand Roses Bring

Once you have completed the Dawn quest, you’ll then unlock the “Corps of Thirty Recruitment” World Quest. All you need to do is complete this quest in order to unlock Sumeru reputation.

To complete the quest, follow the quest marker which points you to the northeastern part of Sumeru City. There, you’ll find Effendi the Researcher whom you have to talk to in order to complete the quest. After that, you can then start farming for rewards via Sumeru’s Reputation Board.
