Genshin Impact: How to Solve All 4 Astral Puzzles in The Ancient Azure Stars

Once you get the Ancient Azure Stars quest, you will have to head over to Mona’s Domain. This domain is the fourth time-limited domain that you can visit in the Summertime Odyssey event.

As the name implies, this area contains astrology-themed puzzles which also happen to be one of the trickiest puzzles in the game.

How to Solve All 4 Astral Puzzles in The Ancient Azure Stars in Genshin Impact

As mentioned, there are four different Astral puzzles you need to solve. So I highly recommend carefully following the steps I’m going to outline below.

Puzzle #1

Upon entering Mona’s Domain, make sure you pick up the Asterism Shards you can see lying right next to the Mirage. After that, approach the mechanism then place the shards in either top or bottom slots. Doing so will open the door which will take you to puzzle #1.

The gist of the puzzle is simple: you just have to recreate the image which you can find in the sky. Hitting a blue orb will connect it to another orb. This will then draw a line, and you’ll need to connect the right lines in accordance with the image you saw earlier.

For this puzzle, make sure the orbs in the triangle are pointing to each other. Meanwhile, the three outside should point inwards. A Precious Chest will then spawn containing various loots as well as an Asterism Shard. Once done, simply pick up the Asterism Shard and follow the Strange Star after.

You’ll arrive at an area with moving walls and floors. Just pay no mind to them and follow the Strange Star until you arrive at the exit. For the final challenge, you need to avoid the stars for one minute. Make sure not to get hit 30 times in order to complete it.

Puzzle #2

Look for the Hilichurl in the yellow area. Interact with the digging spot to pick up an Asterism Shard. It will also open up a portal that will take you back to Mona’s Domain. However, the correct Mirage mechanism is not in front of you. Instead, you can find it on the northeastern corner. Same with the previous one, complete the Mirage in order to unlock the door.

Now for the second Astral puzzle, you need to interact with the star which you can find on the wall first. After that, point the outer orbs toward each other, then the inner orbs should be making a line.

As with the first puzzle, a chest will appear. Loot it for some rewards and an Asterism shard. Keep on following the Strange Star until you come across a Hydro staircase that will take you to the exit.

Puzzle #3

Similar to puzzle #2, you need to interact with the digging spot to obtain another shard and return to Mona’s Domain. Upon arriving, head over to the mechanism which you can find in the northwestern area. place the shards to open the door leading to the third Astral puzzle.

To solve this, you need to look for the zodiac pattern which is inside the sealed room next to this one. Upon solving the puzzle, open the chest, get another shard, and keep on following the Strange Star. However, it won’t dive in this time. As such, you’ll need to open the fourth door first.

Puzzle #4

Opening the fourth door requires you to look for a missing Asterism shard. It will have the same shape as the lower shard which you placed on the northeastern Mirage mechanism. Pick it up and insert it into the upper slot of the mechanism to open the fourth door.

This will then unlock the fourth and final Astral puzzle. For this one, you’ll need to refer to the sign displayed on the roof once again. To do this, make a triangle shape, and use the remaining orbs to point inward.

Once you have solved all four puzzles, a portal will then appear underneath the Mirage. This will take you to the Seize Destiny puzzle which will require you to catch the moving star.
