Genshin Impact: Help the Toy Figure Escape Danger Guide

The latest update for Genshin Impact has expanded the time-limited Simulanka map, giving us a new type of puzzle where you have to help a toy figure escape from danger.

Manipulate time slightly and change things up a bit so that the toy figures stay safe. Of course, you’ll be aptly rewarded with a variety of resources and Primogems for every puzzle you solve. It’s a nice thank-you gift!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to solve all of these puzzles currently available in Genshin Impact 4.8.

Help the Toy Figure Escape Danger Genshin Impact 4.8 Guide

They Once Walked the Starry Sky

The first of these puzzles you’re likely to encounter happens during the main quest, “They Once Walked the Starry Sky”. You’ll eventually reach a point where you’re told to “help a toy figure escape danger”, which introduces you to this new puzzle type in Genshin Impact. Essentially, you need to manipulate time to change the outcome of history and save the toy figures!

The toy figure in this case seems to have fallen down due to a missing handrail. To start the puzzle and help it escape danger, attack the clockwork windup key until you fully rewind time and reset the scene.

Then, attack one of the poles where the handrail is missing. It seems that smacking either the left or right pole works just fine, so just hit whichever one you want. Either way, the handrail will be fully connected now.

All that’s left for you to do is to watch the changed scene play out. You’ve managed to help the first toy figure escape danger in Genshin Impact 4.8!

Now you should know what to expect from this type of puzzle, as well. There are only two more you can find, at least for the time being. Both of them are in the new Constellation Metropole region of the Simulanka map and can be found while exploring freely.

Western Constellation Metropole Exploration – Here Comes the Giant!

This puzzle can be found in the western part of the Constellation Metropole area. Just check out the spot marked on the map above.

You will spot a scene featuring three different toy figures: a small blue one, a small yellow one, and a large red one. Your goal here is to stop the large red toy figure from leaving the area and causing issues. Just like before, attack the windup clockwork machine to rewind time and start the puzzle.

After you rewind time, wait for the small yellow figurine to move. You want them to step onto the plate next to the glue cannon. It should look something like the image above.

While the yellow figurine is standing on the plate, attack the glue cannon by any means necessary. This should make it shoot straight ahead, placing a large puddle of glue on the path ahead. It’s better if you attack multiple times to make the puddle larger, but it doesn’t seem to be necessary.

After the glue puddle is set, watch the scene unfold. The large red toy figure should step onto the glue puddle and fall down, completing this puzzle!

Eastern Constellation Metropole Exploration – Watch Your Head!

You can find this puzzle in the eastern part of the Constellation Metropole. Just head to the spot marked on the map above.

Once there, you’ll see a scene in which a massive crate falls onto some poor toy figures. Just like before, hit the windup clockwork key to rewind time and start the puzzle. It’s time to help this poor toy figure escape danger once again!

The first thing you should do for this puzzle is to break the many crates and vases by the glue cannon. They’re preventing one of the toy figures from reaching the glue cannon, after all!

Once you clear up the obstructions, let the scene play out for a moment. The toy figure near the glue cannon will walk a bit. Wait for it to step on the plate by the glue cannon.

Then, attack the glue cannon as soon as the toy figure steps on the plate. If you do it right, you will shoot a pool of glue on the underside of the falling crate.

Lastly, rewind time using the clockwork key once more. The crate will now be glued to its position, preventing it from falling onto any toy figures. Puzzle completed!
