Genshin Impact: Explore the Area and Find a Way to Activate the Giant Device Quest Guide

A recent update to Genshin Impact added more features to the game. Now that we have access to the Sumeru Desert, we can find world quests that need us to go inside nearby ruins. The update also includes new bosses and enemies.

When you complete the world quest Dual Evidence, you will receive the mission “explore the area and find a way to activate the giant device.” Upon completing the Golden Slumber World Quest, you can access this next.

After you finish it, return to Aaru Village, where a cutscene will take place before the quest officially starts.

After receiving complete approval for the Scarlet Slate device, return to Duat Hall’s Teleport Waypoint. From the Place of Swallowing, turn around and enter the Great Hall of Truths by the two large sculptures on the other side. A giant device will be present for you to examine.

You will then be given the task of exploring the area and finding a way to activate it.

It is actually fairly simple to finish. Next to a monument, interact with the Plinth of the Secret Rites.

The locations of the four monuments are the northwest, northeast, southwest, and southeast, and each one is next to a monument.

The enormous device will be activated, and the mission is finished once you have interacted with all 4 Plinth of the Secret Rites.
