Disable Assists

Driving assists are a noob trap. As a beginner, you don’t want to rely on them as much as possible. Better yet, you’d like to get off of them as early as possible. The reason is that all those driving assists can only slow you down and can even prevent you from further improving your skills.

Early game assists that aim to help you understand the basic mechanics are okay, but you have to make sure to turn everything off after that. Even the brake assistant that sounds rather helpful is nothing but a load of nonsense. You’re better off without it.

That said, let’s have a look at some driving assists in the game. First is traction control. Basically, traction control helps prevent wheelspin each time you accelerate. If you accelerate too hard without traction control, it will just cause your car to spin away.
