Enshrouded has a few armor sets for you to craft and make use of. You make use of these as needed as all of them are good for different things. One of the earliest armor sets you’ll be crafting is the Ragged Armor Set.
This Armor set becomes available at Level 3 and has pretty basic stats overall. Getting an armor set is much better than running around naked, right? So, how do you get Ragged Armor?
How to Get Ragged Armor
You can get Ragged Armor by crafting it. This is pretty simple and only requires a few basic resources. One of those resources, the string, has some prerequisites needed to craft it.
It can be pretty difficult to make your way through the world as a beginner without these armors. So, here’s a step-by-step guide on what ingredients to collect and where to collect them.
1. Collect Twigs and Plant Fiber:
The first resources you need to collect are Twigs and Plant Fibers. They are easy to obtain because they are scattered all over the map. Just walk over to the small plants and interact with them to harvest them.
You should receive some Twigs and Plant Fibers from each of these. Plant Fiber drops more relative to Twigs.
2. Craft Strings:
We need some string in order to craft the Ragged Armor Set. String, however, can not be looted. It is crafted using Plant Fiber. Which is typically how these survival-crafting games go.
3. Collect Torn Cloth:
Torn Cloth is the last resource we need, and it is one of the harder ones to get your hands on. You can find it by looting boxes and barrels found around the world. This is too vague though, so head to the area highlighted below.
Go around this area breaking breakable objects and looting whatever you can. If this doesn’t end up being enough, you can also kill some enemies and loot them. Some enemies will drop Torn Cloth.
4. Craft Ragged Armor:
You should now have enough resources to start crafting the Ragged Armor Set. When in the Crafting Tab, look for the Armor Category. The topmost set there should say “Rags…”. Upon selection, you will be able to see three different craft-able items.
You have to craft “Ragged Shirts”, “Ragged Pants”, and “Ragged Boots”. Together these make up the Ragged Armor set. Now, equip the armor set.
It’s definitely not the best armor set in the game, but it should serve as a decent enough upgrade from the starter gear.
