Confront Otama or Confront Wakasa Choice Guide in Assassin’s Creed Shadows | The Tea Ceremony Quest

In some quests of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, there may be times where you will have to make a decision based on your own investigations. In this guide, we will very quickly go through which choice is the correct one during one part of The Tea Ceremony quest, in which you have to confront either Otama or Wakasa.

At a certain point during The Tea Ceremony quest, you are going to meet a few guests, and what they do or say will factor in to your decision later on as their dialogue will give you clues as to which one is the correct choice.

Eventually, as the tea party progresses, you will eventually get the option to choose between Otama or Wakasa. Only one of them is the correct choice, and when you are presented this option, you have to pick Wakasa if you want the following events to play out more smoothly.

Upon confronting her, she will point out how you have been looking at her and how both of you are clearly hiding something. She will invite you to her house, which you will automatically be sent to via a cutscene.

Once you regain control in her house, your objective will now be to assassinate Wakasa. You can grab the gun from the wall to trigger another cutscene in which you reveal who you are as Wakasa tries to bargain her way out of certain death.
