Clash of Clans: How to 3-Star the Championship Qualifier Challenge

The Championship Qualifier Challenge is a pretty fun and exciting event for Clash of Clan players. Basically, players will aim to get their names on the leaderboard to bring home a bag of goodies. It’s one of the various events held in Clash of Clans, and it’s also one of the toughest.

In this guide, I’ll show you how you can take it on and get a 3-star while doing so.

How to 3-Star the Championship Qualifier Challenge in Clash of Clans

For this event, what you should do is to attack the defense layout of CELINHO from the SpaceStation team and get a 3-star while doing so. It’s a pretty tall order, considering that CELINHO is a professional Clash of Clans player, so of course, his base will be heavily fortified.

Luckily, there are a few ways that you can do to get a 3-star during your attack. This is one of them.

This is the lineup that you’ll be using in order to take on the challenge.

To start, you’ll want to use your Lightning and Earthquake spells. You’ll want to use them to take down the wall that’s in between the Inferno Tower and the X-Bow. Using this opener will allow you to damage both structures as well as the Town Hall and the nearby Builder’s Hut.

Simply deploy the Earthquake spell followed by all six Lightning Spells. At the same time, you want to deploy your Archer Queen near the Wizard Tower accompanied by the healers.

Then, deploy two Archers at the bottom left side, one near the Gold Mine and the other near the Elixir Collector. You’d also want to position a Wizard near the Dark Elixir Drill at the very bottom of the base. At this point, you’ll want to wait for the Queen to take down the Wizard Tower before you make your next move.

Getting Inside the Defenses

As soon as the Queen manages to destroy the Wizard Tower, you then want to position your Giant and another Wizard right next to the cannon at the bottom. Then on the near right, you’ll want to deploy 2 Witches and your Grand Warden to destroy the elixir collectors.

Wait for your Queen and other troops to break through the walls at the bottom. Then, as soon as they breach the inner wall near the cannon, deploy the Rage spell for that momentarily boost. At the same time, make sure you activate your Grand Warden’s Eternal Tome ability.

This way, your troops will be able to survive assaults for a short period of time. This will also lure out the troops from the clan castle, and once they’re piled together, make sure to drop the Poison spell.

While this is happening, deploy your Barbarian King near the Dark Barracks to the left corner. Once he destroys the building, he will then proceed to the Archer Tower. Then, you send in your Royal Champion to provide assistance.

Once the enemy King approaches either your Archer Queen or Barbarian King, make sure to freeze him using the Freeze spell. When your troops start moving toward the middle, apply your Freeze spell once again to freeze both the enemy Queen and the nearby X-bows.

Lastly, deploy your Balloons to take down the remaining defenses at the top corner. Just make sure to wait for the remaining towers to focus on your main troops before doing so. After all of these, you should be able to get a 3-star every single time.
