Every ship in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 has its default role. Among these are flagships, which will act as the leader of your ships. You can customize the roles of your ships before going to battle—in this guide, we’ll show you how to do it.

How To Change Flagship – Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2

Flagships are crucial in the game as they will contain your Admiral. It’s best to pick a vessel that’s ready for battle and is one of your stronger ships. To add, you’ll get to pick your flagship from your line ships only.

To do this, you’ll need to first select your chosen vessel that will be upgraded to a flagship. On the view screen, click on the Promote button (logo with three arrows)—this will promote that line ship to a flagship. This button is also located above the skull icon, which retires your ship.

That’s all you need to do to change your default flagship in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2. This feature is quite tricky to find because it can appear hidden along with other default options. However, you can do it by following the steps above. Have fun playing!
