Senna in 2XKO is a versatile champion who switches between Base Form and Wraith Form. In Base Form, she controls space with beams, projectiles, and grenades. Once she builds enough Wraith Meter, she can enter Wraith Form and become a fast, mixup-heavy fighter with stronger mobility and aggressive pressure.
That form-switching is the heart of her kit. Senna is not just a zoner and not just a rushdown character. She wants to keep enemies away first, build resources, then switch gears and overwhelm them once Wraith Form is ready.
If you like flexible characters who can play both patiently and aggressively, Senna looks like one of the most complete champions in 2XKO so far.
Senna Playstyle Explained

Senna’s playstyle changes depending on which form she is in.
In Base Form, Senna wants to zone with her relic-stone cannon. She uses beams of light, Black Mist projectiles, and grenade attacks to keep opponents away while building Wraith Meter.
In Wraith Form, Senna becomes much more aggressive. She gains new attacks, better mobility, a multidirectional air dash, and mixup tools that let her rush down enemies from unexpected angles.
The basic idea is simple:
Use Base Form to control space and build Wraith Meter.
Use Wraith Form to go in and apply pressure.
Switch between both forms often to unlock her full potential.
At higher levels, Senna players will not just use Wraith Form as a one-time power-up. They will move in and out of both forms during pressure, combos, and team sequences.
Wraith Meter Explained

Senna’s unique resource is Wraith Meter.
Her heavy attacks and special attacks build Wraith Meter when they hit the opponent. Her S2 moves can also build Wraith Meter on block and on hit, which makes them very important in Base Form.
Once Senna has at least one bar of Wraith Meter, she can activate Wraith Form using down-forward S2. Wraith Form changes her moves and gives her new movement options, but the meter drains over time while she is the point champion.
When the meter runs out, Senna returns to Base Form once she is on the ground.
One interesting detail is that Senna only loses Wraith Meter while she is the active point champion. If she tags out while in Wraith Form, she stays in Wraith Form. That makes her very flexible in team play because you can preserve the form for later setups.
Base Form Senna

Senna starts in Base Form, where she plays more like a ranged control character.
This version of Senna uses her cannon to fire beams and projectiles, keeping opponents at a distance while slowly building toward Wraith Form. She is not helpless up close, but her main goal in Base Form is to make opponents fight through her range before they can start their offense.
Her basic gameplan in Base Form is to poke with beams, control the screen with Black Mist tools, and look for chances to build Wraith Meter safely.
Base Form S1: Cannon Beam

Senna’s S1 uses her relic-stone cannon.
Tap S1 to fire a beam of light. You can hold the button to charge it, and you can tap down to change its direction. This is one of Senna’s most important poke tools because it lets her threaten opponents from range.

Her S1 Super fires a stronger blast of energy, giving her a more powerful ranged option when she wants to cash out or threaten from a distance.
In Base Form, S1 is your bread-and-butter zoning tool. Use it to make opponents respect your range and stop them from freely walking forward.
Base Form S2: Black Mist Attacks

Senna’s S2 moves use the Black Mist, and they are very important because they build Wraith Meter on block and on hit.
Hold S2 to fire a low-traveling mist projectile. When you release the button, the projectile shoots upward. This can help cover space and make your opponent think twice before jumping or moving carelessly.
Her down S2 throws a grenade in an arc. If it hits, Senna can follow up with S1 or a heavy attack to get a wall bounce, making it an important combo starter or extender.
With forward S2, Senna releases a short burst of Black Mist. If it hits, she brings the opponent into the air, which can help start pressure or combo routes.
Her air S2 is a multi-hit attack that spikes the opponent to the ground. You can hold a direction to steer the move, giving her more control in aerial situations.
Senna’s S2 tools are where Base Form becomes more than just “stand far away and shoot.” They help her build meter, threaten different angles, and prepare for the switch into Wraith Form.
How to Enter Wraith Form

Once Senna has at least one bar of Wraith Meter, she can use down-forward S2 to dash a short distance and activate Wraith Form.
She can also enter Wraith Form through her S2 Super, where she dives at the opponent in a rush of Black Mist. This works even if she does not have Wraith Meter when the attack starts.
Once Senna enters Wraith Form, her gameplan changes. Instead of playing primarily at range, she wants to go on offense and use her enhanced movement to open opponents up.
Wraith Form Senna

Wraith Form turns Senna into a rushdown and mixup-focused champion.
While Wraith Form is active, her moves change and her Wraith Meter slowly drains over time. She also gains a multidirectional air dash, which is one of the biggest upgrades in her kit.
After dashing forward, you can hold up or down to slightly angle her movement. This gives Senna more ways to approach, cross up, and attack from awkward positions.
Some of her normals also gain new properties in Wraith Form. For example, standing medium can shoot a projectile, while crouching heavy can hit off the ground.
This form is where Senna becomes much harder to pin down. She can move quickly, pressure from different angles, and force opponents to guess where the next attack is coming from.
Wraith Form S1

In Wraith Form, Senna’s S1 becomes a dash attack that tracks opponents horizontally.
This is one of her key approach tools because it lets her chase enemies and stay aggressive. It can also cancel into air dash during startup, giving Senna even more movement options.

Her Wraith Form S1 Super fires a beam of dark energy and has the same properties as her Base Form version.
This gives her a strong offensive tool while still keeping some of her ranged threat intact.
Wraith Form S2

Wraith Form S2 briefly turns Senna into a shadow that can move in any direction. When she reappears, she unleashes a whirlwind attack.
You can hold S2 to stay intangible for longer, which makes this move useful for avoiding attacks, ending combos, or crossing up opponents.
This is one of her scariest Wraith Form tools because it can mess with the opponent’s sense of direction. Senna can disappear, move through space, and reappear with an attack from an unexpected angle.

Her down-forward S2 in Wraith Form lets her dash forward and return to Base Form. If she uses S2 Super while in Wraith Form, she releases the anguish of the undead and also goes back to Base Form.
This means Senna is constantly moving between both sides of her kit. The best players will use Wraith Form for pressure, then return to Base Form when needed instead of wasting the meter.
Senna Ultimate

Senna’s ultimate changes visually depending on her form, but the move has the same properties in both.
In Base Form, she purifies her opponent with a massive surge of light. In Wraith Form, she blasts them with the Black Mist instead.
The important part is that her ultimate hits the entire floor from full screen. That makes it a huge threat, especially when opponents think they are safe at long range.
Whether she is using light or darkness, the result is still the same: the enemy gets deleted from very far away.
Senna Assists Explained

Senna has different assist options depending on whether she is in Base Form or Wraith Form.
In Base Form, her Forward Assist launches a grenade in an arc. Her Back Assist fires a short beam of light. Her Super Assist fires a much stronger beam, and if it hits Senna’s teammate, they gain a small amount of recoverable health.
That healing effect is a really cool reference to her Q in League of Legends, and honestly, the champion design team cooked with that one.

In Wraith Form, Senna’s assists change. Her Forward Assist makes her rush forward in a whirlwind, and if she hits the opponent, she kicks them to the ground. Her Back Assist summons an undead projectile.
This makes Senna useful in both forms even when she is not the active champion. Base Form gives her strong projectile and support utility, while Wraith Form gives her more aggressive assist options.
Best Senna Team Partners

Senna looks like one of the most versatile duo partners in 2XKO so far because she can play both zoning and rushdown roles.
With Caitlyn, Senna can create a very strong keepaway team. Both champions can control space from far away, making it difficult for opponents to approach. Once Senna has enough Wraith Meter, she can suddenly switch into rushdown and tear through the enemy team.
Senna can also work well with mobile champions like Ekko or Akali. These partners can take advantage of Wraith Form’s fast movement and mix-up potential, helping Senna overwhelm opponents from multiple angles.
She should also pair well with Thresh, especially because Thresh’s lantern setups give Senna even more ways to switch between zoning and aggressive pressure. Just do not tell her we said that.
Is Senna Good in 2XKO?
Senna looks very strong because she can play more than one role.
In Base Form, she can zone and build resources. In Wraith Form, she can rush down and mix opponents. As an assist, she can provide projectiles, grenade pressure, aggressive Wraith attacks, and even recoverable health through her Super Assist.
That makes her extremely flexible.
The main challenge is that you need to understand when to switch forms. If you stay in Base Form forever, you may miss out on her strongest pressure. If you waste Wraith Form too early, you lose the resource that makes her dangerous.
Senna rewards players who can manage pace, spacing, and resources. If you like champions with multiple layers, she looks like a great pick.
