Granblue Fantasy Relink: How to Play Narmaya | Skills & Build

Granblue Fantasy Relink has a total of 17 known characters that will be a part of the game on release. The characters are differentiated by their unique skills in the game. This will also affect how you build these characters.

For this guide, specifically, we will be looking at Narmaya, a highly damaging character who uses a blade for her abilities.

We will be going over the character’s skills and the best way to utilize the character, looking at her build and playstyle.

How to Play Narmaya | Skills & Build

Stances

Narmaya has 2 stances she can switch across during combat. These are the Dawnfly stance and the Freeflutter stance.

In the Dawnfly stance, you gain access to faster attacks through your basic attack combinations. The Freefullter stance on the other hand gives you access to a charge attack rather than the faster attacks.

Narmaya has a cool and unique mechanic in which you can build up butterflies during combat. These butterflies will empower your unique skills and help you do more damage in a fight.

Skills

You have access to 4 skills with Narmaya. These 4 skills can be used on the Playstation by holding R1 and pressing one of the 4 buttons ( X, Circle, Triangle, Square).

The 4 skills available to her are:

• Kyokasuigetsu: Lunging attack that allows the player to close the gap between themselves and the enemy
• Setsuna: A chargeable slash attack. deals damage to all enemies within the attack range
• Apex of Nothingness: This attack allows Narmaya to parry and counter an incoming attack. She slows the enemy hit and removes 1 buff from them
• Crescent Moon: A long-range slash attack that allows Narmaya to dash backward and increase the distance between her and her enemy.

All of Narmaya’s attacks are stronger in some way based on the player’s butterfly count.

Build

Granblue Fantasy Relink gives players a lot of options when building their character in the form of Sigils. In terms of weapons, you have a Katana that you can use with Narmaya.

For Narmaya, because she is so ability-heavy, Sigils that buff your cooldowns and ability damage are very good. Critical hit rate and damage are also something you can opt for. Sigils that boost your combos are also not a bad option.

The devs have confirmed that there will be 10 total sigil spots for you in the main game. You can get very creative with your builds or just go for a more focused build. That is up to your playstyle.

Overall Playstyle

Overall, Narmaya has a very fast-paced style of play that is best used by combining her quick attacks and special abilities to maximize damage.
