Brigadier

Equipped with the HK416A5, this build is not bad at all. Along with the very powerful HK assault rifle, you also get a 5.56x45mm M995 NATO standardized mag capable of dealing enormous amounts of damage and delivering penetrating power.

Players opting for the Brigadier preset also get level 5 body armor which can withstand considerable fire from the enemy team.

Mutant

Kalter is another good choice when choosing your ideal preset in the Assault Class progression tree. It comes with the Steyr AUG assault rifle which is an amazing weapon to use. Combination with the 5.56×45 NATO standardized ammo makes it all the more powerful and desirable by players.

Overall, it can be said that the Assault Class, once progressed long enough can indeed be a competitive one. However, getting to this point can be a difficult and painful process that requires good nerves and patience from players choosing to go down this path.
