Cuisineer: How To Get Hamburger Recipe

If you’ve been poking around Cuisineer and want that Hamburger recipe unlocked, good news — it’s absolutely a thing you can get, and it doesn’t just appear in your recipe book randomly while you’re flipping pancakes.

The game ties recipe unlocks to quests, and the Hamburger (often just called Burger in the game data) comes from one specific side quest that you can complete early-to-mid game.

What the Hamburger Recipe Is

The “Hamburger” in Cuisineer is referred to in the game files and community sources as Burger. It’s a Tier 2 recipe you cook at the Oven for customers, and you’ll need basic ingredients like Cheese, Tough Meat, and Flour to make it once you have the recipe.

This side quest pops up in town and has you helping a character named Pippin. The objective is straightforward: bring him 20 Tough Meat. Once you hand that over, Pippin thanks you by teaching you the Burger recipe.

Where to Find Tough Meat

Since the quest requires Tough Meat x20, you’ll want to know how to gather that first before you run off to unlock the recipe. Tough Meat is a very common ingredient dropped by enemies in the Green Ruins biome and similar early zones of the game. You can also find it in crates and by defeating specific mobs that drop larger meat chunks. Once you have 20, head back to Pippin and complete that step.

Cooking the Burger

With the recipe unlocked and ingredients collected, you cook the Burger at an Oven station. The required ingredients are:

• Cheese ×1
• Tough Meat ×1
• Flour ×1

That combo gets you one serving of Burger, which you can serve to customers for profit or use in other quests or buffs later on.
