There are a lot of different Stash Tabs you can get in Path of Exile 2, but it can be hard to tell which ones are the best since they’re not deeply explained in the game.

The in-game store only gives you the basic details of what each Stash Tab does. However, it doesn’t really mention which ones to prioritize and what not. It can be hard to really grasp which ones are worth the money, honestly…

Fret not, though! Just read on and we’ll explain every Stash Tab in Path of Exile 2 and tell you which ones are the best ones to get.

All Stash Tabs Explained and Best Ones to Get | Path of Exile 2

By default, you get four basic 12×12 Stash Tabs for free. Aside from these, though, you can purchase a large variety of extra tabs.

If you purchased Stash Tabs in Path of Exile 1, they should also transfer over to PoE 2 when applicable. Not all of them do currently, though, such as the Map Stash Tab which doesn’t have an equivalent in PoE 2.

With all that said, let’s go over each one of these Stash Tabs!

Extra Stash Tab (30 Points)

Exactly what it says on the tin, pretty much. An additional basic 12×12 Stash Tab. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s by far the cheapest you can get, so it’s still nice.

Premium Stash Tab (40 Points)

Premium | BEST Stash Tabs to Get in Path of Exile 2 & All Stash Tabs Explained

A regular 12×12 Stash Tab with extra Premium features. They are more customizable, so you can change their colors and names to whatever you wish. It’s a nice organizational bonus!

More importantly, though, it also allows you to make the Stash Tab public and set prices for all the items within. This will automatically list them on the official trading website, allowing other players to buy them. If you simply can’t be bothered setting up trades personally, this streamlines the entire process for you.

There’s also the option to upgrade existing Standard tabs to Premium tabs, as well.

Currency Tab (75 Points)

Currency | BEST Stash Tabs to Get in Path of Exile 2 & All Stash Tabs Explained

A special Stash Tab has specific spots for every type of currency in the game, including materials such as Chaos Orbs. It’s extremely well organized and keeps you from wasting slots for currencies on your other tabs. Easily one of the best Stash Tabs you can get currently in Path of Exile 2!

Gem Tab (40 Points)

Gem Tab

Similar to the Currency Tab, this is a dedicated Stash Tab for all of your Gems. You can store up to 500 Gems of all types in it, and they’re organized based on their levels. Nice for Quality of Life, but not mandatory.

Premium Quad Tab (150 Points)

Premium Quad Tab

As the name indicates, this is a much larger Stash Tab than the default. It gives you a total of 24×24 tiles instead of the standard 12×12. It’s excellent for storing large amounts of loot! It also has access to Premium features.

Flask Tab (40 Points)

This works like the Gem Tab, but it’s specifically for Flasks. You can store up to 500 different Flask types and you can sort them in multiple ways, such as per level. That said, you don’t really get enough different Flasks to make this one worth the money. We recommend not getting this one at all, at least currently.

Essence Tab (40 Points)

This one works like the Currency Tab. It allows you to neatly organize and store all of your Essences in one single place. It’s a very low-priority Stash Tab for now as Essences don’t take up much space in regular tabs. It might be a neat one for organization if you’re at the endgame and craft with Essences a lot, though.

Delirium Tab (40 Points)

Pretty much the same as the Essence Tab, but for Delirium. It’s only worthwhile if you spend a lot of time grinding at the endgame for Delirium drops. Even then, though, you’re better off just getting a much more versatile Quad Tab instead.

Unique Collection Tab (140 Points)

This tab is primarily aimed at completionists. It lets you store away all of your Unique items while also telling you what percentage of Uniques you have. It also showcases them all pretty neatly! If you like collecting Uniques specifically, this one’s for you. Worth noting that this also doubles as a Premium tab!

Sales and Bundles | BEST Stash Tabs to Get in Path of Exile 2 & All Stash Tabs Explained

Now that we’ve explained every single Stash Tab in Path of Exile 2, we can simply say that the best Stash Tabs to get are the Currency Tab and the Premium Quad Tab. If you’re on a budget but wish to streamline trading, a single Premium Stash Tab would also be a solid choice.

All of the others are nice, but they aren’t as useful overall. Of course, whether they’re worth it or not is ultimately up to you!

Additionally, we also recommend waiting for sales and bundles. Sales happen periodically, seemingly at least once a month. It’s a good chance to get Stash Tabs for cheaper than the standard prices. Bundles work similarly, as you can get a bunch of different Stash Tabs at once for a discounted total price.

So, there you have it! That’s all of the Stash Tabs in Path of Exile 2 explained and our recommendations on which are the best ones to get. Your personal Stash isn’t the only Stash in the game, though. There’s also a Guild Stash, which is a big focus of our ultimate Guild guide.
