In a totally unexpected move, we finally got a glimpse of who the main villain for 007 First Light might be. This is after a new trailer for the upcoming James Bond game was leaked hours before The Game Awards.

From the looks of it, it appears that the leak revealed the game’s main villain, who’s none other than legendary singer and musician, Lenny Kravitz.

In the now-deleted video, the trailer opens up with Bond doing his usual shenanigans until close to the 20-second mark, where we hear Kravitz’s character talking.

A few seconds later, the camera pans to Kravitz’s character sitting on a chair as his figure gets slowly revealed while talking to Bond, who happens to be captured.

His character is then revealed to be called Bawma, who, according to a tweet screenshotted by IGN, “rose from nothing, broke free, and built his own Kingdom of Aleph.”

Luckily, fans were able to create a copy of the now-deleted clip, and you can find it on ResetEra. It’s worth noting that the clip is in vertical mode and is only 1-minute long.

Still, this should give us an idea of who Bond might end up fighting against in the upcoming game.

What Players Can Expect from the New Character Played by Lenny Kravitz

As of now, there’s really not much going on with regard to Bawma’s character information.

The only information we have is the minute-long video and his brief description mentioned above.

There’s really no denying that the model is made after Lenny Kravitz himself, even though there’s no official confirmation about it elsewhere yet.

In the clip, you’ll hear Bawma saying:

“I am often asked, how is it Bawma, that you hear every whisper, in every corner? And I answer, I’ve built this with my will, my blood, my whole self. This city is an extension of my being, my body. But today it became infected.”

The clip then ends with one of Bawma’s henchmen kicking an NPC into a pit with crocodiles, while Bond is slowly lowered into the pit.

That said, while the clip is no doubt legitimate, we can’t really say for certain that Kravitz’s role is the main villain of the game itself. If anything, he could just be one of the many villains you’ll come across throughout the story.

Besides, there are only a few hours left before The Game Awards. Chances are high that the trailer will be shown during the show; this time, in full resolution.

With all that said, the upcoming Bond game sure is enlisting some serious celebrities into its cast, and we can’t wait to see how the game plays out when it releases on March 27, 2026.
