If you’re working through ARC Raiders’ questlines and just hit the Groundbreaking quest, don’t worry, it sounds more complicated than it actually is. This quest is short, straightforward, and mostly about going to the right places in the right order.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through every step, show you exactly where to go, and point out a few small tips so you don’t waste time (or lose quest items). Let’s get into it.

Enter the Locked Room at Pilgrim’s Peak

Here’s a video on where to enter the Locked Room at Pilgrim’s Peak for the Groundbreaking Quest in ARC Raiders.

Once you accept the quest, Apollo will hand you the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key.
First things first: put that key in your safe pocket. You really don’t want to lose it mid-raid.

Next, queue into the Blue Gate map.

From there, head to Pilgrim’s Peak, located in the far northeastern corner of the map. You’ll know you’re in the right spot when you see the tall tower. Enter the building, then turn left and keep moving forward until you reach a locked door.

If the door is already open, even better, just walk straight in.

Search the Room for Construction Research

Here’s a video on where to find the Construction Research Whiteboard while searching the room for the Groundbreaking Quest in ARC Raiders.

Inside the locked room, check the corner of the room for a whiteboard. Interact with it, and this objective is instantly completed.

Simple enough, but don’t leave yet, because that whiteboard is important for the next step.

Find the Building Pictured on the Whiteboard

Here’s a video on how to find the building pictured on the whiteboard for the Groundbreaking Quest in ARC Raiders.

Now things get slightly less obvious.

Take a close look at the photo on the whiteboard. The image points you toward a location near the abandoned housing area shown on the map.

Head to that area, and once you’re close enough to the correct building, the objective will complete automatically, no extra interaction needed.

Photograph the Abandoned Housing Project

Here’s a video on how to photograph the Abandoned Housing Project to complete the Groundbreaking Quest in ARC Raiders.

For the final step, you’ll need to take a photo, but not just anywhere.

Nearby, you’ll find a specific rock with an interaction circle. Stand on or near that rock, interact with the prompt, and your character will take the photo.

Once the picture is taken, that’s it, you’ve officially completed the Groundbreaking quest.

Wrap-Up

And that’s the ARC Raiders Groundbreaking quest from start to finish. It’s a quick, no-nonsense mission as long as you know where to go, and now you do.

If you’re chaining quests or working toward unlocking more cosmetics and gear, this one’s an easy win. Grab your rewards, move on to the next objective, and keep raiding.

Up next, I recommend that you also check out my complete guide for the Cold Snap event in Arc Raiders. It includes stuff like snow maps, surviving frostbite, completing the Flickering Flames event, finding Candleberries, and unlocking new outfits and rewards. Check it out!
