Raft is a Swedish open-world survival video game published by Axolot Games and developed by Redbeet Interactive. Crafting is vital to your survival in the game. At the same time, you must first collect resources. Clay is one of the ingredients in many recipes.
How to Get Clay in Raft
Primarily, Clay is mixed with sand to create Wet Bricks. Then, they are put to dry until they become Dry Bricks. Aside from that, Clay is also in a few different recipes, including the Beehive, Healing Salve, and Good Healing Salve.
However, you’ll be utilizing Clay to build Dry Bricks most of the time, at least at the beginning of the game, as you make essential items for survival.
Gathering Clay
Clay is best obtained by digging it up in an island’s shallow waters. That may be straightforward enough, but you’ll have to deal with the Shark’s continual threat while doing so. Make short trips into the water and keep your eyes open at all times.
Travel to an island, anchor your Raft, then dig the grayish clumps of Clay that you can locate underwater to get Clay in the Raft. To do this, you’ll need a Hook in your hand.
Simply hold down the left-click button while your mouse is over the Clay deposit to collect it. Make sure to always keep an eye out for the Shark.
