Genesis Bow is one of the most obtuse new weapons to obtain in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon, as it’s locked behind the tricky Glyph Code Puzzle.

The Glyph Code Puzzle, much like other puzzles in Remnant 2, doesn’t explain itself. It simply shows you a bunch of glyphs and leaves you to figure things out! Manage to overcome it, though, and you’ll get the powerful Genesis Bow. It can fire up to 5 projectiles at once, with 4 of them tracking enemies.

In this guide, we’ll help you solve the Glyph Code Puzzle so you can claim the Genesis Bow for yourself!

How to Get Genesis Bow (Glyph Code Puzzle Solution)

To get the Genesis Bow and solve the Glyph Code Puzzle in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon, you’ll first need to find the puzzle in question. So, if you haven’t found it yet, start from the Waylaid Conservatory checkpoint in the Withered Necropolis.

From there, leave the room with the checkpoint and keep going straight ahead. You’ll eventually reach a Glider, as shown above.

Once you take the Glider, drop down and approach the gust of wind in the cavern below.

As soon as you get the boost from the gust of wind, turn to your right. Try to remain close to the cliff to your right until you see the next gust of wind.

When you get the boost from the second gust of wind, turn to your left. Follow the arrow in the image above to find a ledge on the cliffside.

Land on that ledge and you should see the Glyph Code Puzzle right in front of you. Now, it’s time to get solving!

How to Solve the Glyph Code Puzzle

Now, face the Glyph Code Puzzle and you’ll notice that there are two sets of glyphs. The top set of glyphs tells you the code for the previous hour, while the bottom set is the one you can modify to input the code.

This means that the solution to the puzzle changes every real-time hour, repeating every 24 hours. Since the game always tells you the answer for the previous hour and not the current hour, you’ll need to wait for the next day to input the code.

For example, say that you played today and reached the Glyph Code Puzzle from 10:00pm to 10:59pm. The top set of glyphs would tell you the answer for 9:00pm to 9:59pm. As such, you should need to take note of the glyph code shown today and then play again tomorrow between 9:00pm to 9:59pm to input the code.

Sadly, the code seems to be unique for every character. That means that every player will have a different potential answer. Otherwise, players would just share all of the different combinations for every hour!

However, you can at least work around the time requirement somewhat. You can modify the clock on your PC or console and avoid having to wait any real time. Just close the game, set your clock to one hour earlier, and input the code the game showed before.

Input the code correctly once and the Glyph Code Puzzle will disappear, revealing a door leading to the Genesis Bow in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon. Just walk in and claim your reward!

The Genesis Bow isn’t the only secret new ranged weapon in this DLC, however. Check out our guide on how to get the powerful new Monorail rifle as well.
