The Vector .45 ACP in XDefiant has all the qualities that you would expect an SMG to have. Its extremely high fire rate combined with its decent damage make it the ultimate killing machine. If you happen to run into an enemy at close range, you are for sure coming out on top.

Like most weapons in this game though, you must unlock the Vector .45 ACP to use it. So, what exactly do you need to do to unlock the Vector .45 ACP in XDefiant?

How to Unlock Vector .45 ACP Weapon

To get the Vector .45 ACP Weapon, you will need to do a total of 10,000 damage with SMGs. Compared to a lot of other challenges in this game, the requirement for this challenge is fairly straightforward. You can get the 10,000 damage by simply playing the game will SMGs.

Other than the Vector .45 ACP, there are 3 more SMGs that you can use in XDefiant. You can use any of the SMGs in the game, but out of the 3 other SMGs, only one is unlocked by default, the MP5A2. The other 2, the MP7 and P90 must be unlocked through challenges.

Best Way to Approach the Challenge

The MP5A2 SMG. You can find all the SMGs in the weapon selection menu.

As it is unlocked by default, the MP5A2 is the best gun to use for the challenge. All the SMGs in this game are great in their own way. So whichever one you use, you can’t go wrong. The 10,000 damage you need to deal doesn’t have to be all in one game. All of your progress carries over between games.

Alongside the weapon you are using, there are other important aspects of your loadout that you need to consider for this challenge. The class you opt to use can play a big part in making the challenge easier for you. Other than classes, Devices can also play a big role in making the challenge easier for you. Devices like the Flashbang Grenade perfectly complement the SMG playstyle and will end up getting you a lot of extra kills and damage dealt.

Once you’ve unlocked the Vector .45 ACP, you can start playing with it and leveling it up. Leveling up weapons in XDefiant lets you unlock attachments for that weapon. The Vector .45 ACP can also be a bit difficult to use initially—practice using the weapon and get the most out of it.
